In real life swat teams don’t really go in often they are set up ready but are a last resort, if negotiations fail (which always happens in RoN) negotiations can last days.

Never had that issue before. While I play with AI mods now, even on vanilla I managed to arrest 4-5 suspects before they were going to instantly shoot.

I said that I never had the issue you are experiencing. No matter which map it was outside of active shooter ones I could have arrested multiple suspects before entering the phase which you describe takes 2-3 minutes.

Not quite. The police response to such an incident as with any active shooter is going to be massive and overwhelming. Local, state, federal agencies all converging and gearing up for entry. On a scene like anything in RON well over 100 cops would be there.

I've definitely had way better experiences with the swat AI in earlier versions of the game. The AI definitely has always had its issues, but now half the time they are not even responding to my commands, get stuck somewhere, or the point man will breach a room walking backwards or while looking into the wall
