I would say it died at 1.0 but that’s hinesight talking. If the gas is truly broken and not working even as it should past it's nerfs then sure, it should be fixed. But there were many, many fixes that fixed various crashes, UI issues etc. for a lot of people and that is still valid.

They intentionally shrunk the radius on both grenade types (8m down to 4.5 and 3) and also changed the gas stun buildup from 200/sec to 50/sec on Standard and 25/sec on hard.

I just don't believe for a second that anyone actually tested it.
