The answer is very long and very very technical. You really wanna hear it?

Arma Reforger uses a very specific setup with its own “Workshop” system that Bohemia designed from the ground up to work on both PC and consoles. That means every mod has to go through their curated pipeline and gets distributed through their servers, which keeps it within console platform policies.

Ready or Not, on the other hand, is built on Unreal Engine 5 and doesn’t have an integrated cross-platform system for mods. On PC, modding is straightforward because players can access the game files directly. On consoles, though, you can’t just drop in or load custom .pak files, everything has to go through a secure, curated delivery method approved by Sony/Microsoft. VOID would need to build or license a whole infrastructure.

So it’s less about “willingness” and more about technology, policy, and resources. Arma solved it by building the pipeline early. VOID hasn’t implemented such a system.
YET.. who knows.. maybe in the future.
But very likely not soon or at all.
