All things considered, the censorship might also be partially due to this. If truly some games that show similar things go unpunished, then look at it this way. Those games are fictional, whereas RoN is trying to show and depict real life events that even take inspiration from real life situations and incidents. That can also play a big difference why there could be some punishment aimed at Void for this.

Void did a good job creating what this game is supposed to be about. Bugs and issues happen everywhere, it needs fixing and I am not a dev and probably the majority of people criticizing Void for the bugs are not developers either. So we truly don't know how hard it is to fix the specific issues, and the things community wants fixed might not be of the utmost priority to Void. Game breaking things like crashes will always be more important than funky AI.

Siege turned out the way it did because the development team disconnected from the playerbase for the most part and made decisions that just no one liked. Void has not gone that path from what I see and what I follow. The game is in a playable state, and while I understand you face bugs that ruin your experience, not everyone faces the issues you do.

The stuff would be allowed on consoles in areas of the world without censorship, gta, cyberpunk, and outlast are a few examples where graphic content are not issues. Specifically I’m talking about dismemberment and depictions of abuse. Dismemberment has been in games forever, and the abuse depicted are photographs of children’s mugshots. Why keep all of the camera equipment in front of cribs etc and keep barrels of dead children while you take out the evidence and keep the voice lines for it. The nudity being censored is also dumb because a good number of console games have nudity in them. The way things are censored is terrible, why would a human trafficking ring put clean underwear on the ppl they’re torturing? It breaks immersion. Keeping the mission briefs the same doesn’t track with how they censored certain things

All in all, from what I see, no changes were made to truly adhere to a specific country, just the publishers.

Simply put, if the game had these details and wanted to push for console release it could have been given the Adult Only rating, this could result in a blacklist by Microsoft and Sony. This game is also trying to make you think of this as how real life goes, so that is another issue, showing the atrocities and making you think that's how the world works, and it sometimes works like that. Anyways, this can be fixed via a mod with one click, the deal is not as big as people make it out to be.
