personally, i think the gunplay is ass, the stat increases for guns arent meaningful, the writing is beyond cringe (and i was a lot younger when i played it still) and the whole "tons of guns" thing just doesnt have that good an impact.
However, graphically its really good, the world building is quite nice, and handsome jack is an amazing character

if you're coming into the game from the console release it will not make any difference to you, the game will still have substantial shock value. To those of us who've been playing for years, we know whats now missing. It shouldn't make too much of a difference to the game for an experienced players who by this point in time is probably desensitised to the games content to some degree.

I'm not overly bothered by the censorship, just been saying what imo is the most impactful change.

the main thing here is that those of who've been playing for years, know that people like you wont have nearly as much of a gut wrenching reaction when you first see the things that have been changed. And personnally, that to me is the most unfortunate thing here. However, I do think it is an acceptable compromise to allow more people access to this game and the perspective of policing it gives, and hopefully the optimisation improvements for PC that should come from it.

The AI in this game will drive you mad, but hopefully, it will also make you keep coming back because you don't want the game to beat you. Atleast thats why i play it.

the work up in the mission briefing makes it seem like it has shock value, but then in the actual mission the building is relatively small for a campus, and one of the biggest issues i have with the game really hurts it.

You learn on arriving theres more than one suspect, but not how many, problem is once you take down all supects the game lists that objective as complete, even if you've managed to find all the suspects in the first 3 rooms, now theres no tension in the rest of the mission. That needs to be removed from the game imo, and Bringing order to Chaos and Rescue all Civs objectives should only complete once you've actually cleared every single room, which should be done by dropping chemlights to actually give them a use.

Review boarding also have to approve physical releases and Sony has no problem even with Postal 1 Redux and 4 (suddenly from all 3 it's only Microsoft, having problem with this series....yes), as well as multiple +18 full nudity big games (BG3, GTAV, CP2077 etc.)
While in example Japan rating board blocks all dismemberment in their version (and for RoN VOID choose physical + full crossplay, likely having days to censor things, so here we are). At least it's my very short line of thinking

No, but if you run a shield and pistol currently your only option would be to kill people whilst using the shield with your pistol.
