the in-game integration doesnt work (deleting mods doesnt actualy remove files, game doesnt check for compatbility so old mods can be installed and brick the game, etc)

mod.io isnt a bad site by any means it's just the in game integration is bad and nexus has more mods

Main benefit of mod.io is that it doesn't cap download speeds and you don't have to pay for premium subscription to get uncapped speeds unlike nexus.

More particularily things like reshade will effect it but usually not to any major degree but if you don't have good performance or good PC I wouldn't recommend reshade to start with.
