Can someone give me some advice regarding weaponry?, I have been using the M1014 and .357 pretty much the whole time I’ve played the game, I see a lot of success in quickly disabling suspects with these weapons. But I’ve recently noticed the lack of stopping power with the M1014 among longer ranges (>15 feet), is there any shotgun in the game that has notably more success over distance?

Anyone got any advice ?????

Not really, any shotgun can one shot at any range

I'm not sure if the pump is more accurate but i don't really think the tradeoff is worth it

Depends on how you play. If you make a conscious effort to mitigate suspect stress, suppressors will help.

But if you're yelling, full auto spraying, and throwing grenades at everyone, it won't do much

It's pretty fun to play "stealth" and mitigate yelling/gunshots while working around the map.

You can catch way more people off guard, of course, true stealth isn't really possible though. (gunshots are loud)

Fair enough, i have a group of friends who are practically planning military style tactics for the game. Kinda cringe I know but we’ve wanted this game on console for years now.

though often times the AI makes getting arrests for certain missions pretty tricky

you have rules of engagement to follow, you will be penalised for shooting suspects that arent posing a threat ideally, but the ROE system is currently VERY relaxed

Ceramic full armour is sweet spot, steel is really slow

movement speed is the same no matter what you pick, acceleration is what it effects

kevlar gives you the most but is the weakest armour, steel slows your acceleration the most but has the most damage resistence but theres some spalling mechanic that can cause friendlies around you to get injured if you're shot

ceramic completely blocks damage but has limited health it is the best option and doesnt slow you down that much anyways

Now I have a question about ROE. I saw a clip where you tell someone to put down a gun and they lower it but it’s pointed towards you… I think the goal is not to shoot them but … come on right? If the gun is pointing at you do you really get penalized for it?

but there is a bit of a bug where they raise their gun to shoot but the game doesnt really recognise it and will penalise you

there are unfortunately a lot of rough edges still with this game I wont lie
