.45 and faster move speed doesn't make up for not having a dodge of any kind and it really makes him hard to play

Rita (Alyssa type, the rpd officer from desperate time) was my main on very hard. 2500 HP, Alyssa's OP dodge, lockpick and starts with handgun ammo

Very hard is a different demon. You basically get exactly enough ammo/weapons to kill what needs killed, enemies are at their fastest/most powerful and all of the puzzles/routes are at their hardest variations

Like the zoo level in Outbreak 2, the hunting rifle spawns in the alleyway at the very start on VH, basically means someone is stuck carrying it through the whole fuckin level if its gonna be used on the boss
