It's not like you cannot sprint in heavy equipment (spoiler, you can). Void has this weird vision of balance they're slowly letting go of. They literally didn't wanted ppl to use multiple helmet attachments for "balance"

FEAR is highly smoke and mirrors. They speak to each other, which makes them look very realistic. Plus, the maps are 'on-rails', so it's easy to script good AI by scenario

they're not very autonomous. Good autonomous AI is a VERY hard thing to do. That's why RoN's AI is the best we have for cqb (after being modded ofc)
