Realistically there’s a only a very few specific angles where the sun shines directly into your soul though so you’ll be okay.

Out of a 6" handgun max pressure .357 loads can achieve the expected energies of most commercial spec .44 mag ammo.

I don't know .44 mag that well but most .357 magnum commercial loads are comically under maximum spec. Out of a 6" barrel you'll usually see ~600ft*lbs while proper max pressure 180gr loads can achieve more like 800-900ft*lbs.
