Try troubleshooting the mods, move them all to a folder then one at a time move one into the paks folder then start the game until you find the faulty mod(s).

I believe most mods are broken after the DLC update.
Gunfighter got an emergency patch for the update, you can go and install that and it should work.

For me some mods make the game crash and some don’t.

As for the game crashing without mods I don’t know, I have not had that issue.

if you play with 5 humans and have some basic procedures in place you can pretty easily manage most maps first try

when it comes to AI its a bit harder, but only because of the lack of means of controlling the AI

if it was possible to issue commands through helmet cam like in swat 4, if you use the voice command thing, or if there were other ways to have more effective control of your AI guys, it would be much easier even without improving the quality of the current friendly AI

well in the case of Elephant specificly, it's a matter of mission tactics too i guess, additional to those other things.

||the trick is splitting up into two teams at the very least and quickly clearing the major hallways on each floor, this can be done in under a minute and will always result in coming across the shooters. 'experienced operators' could even decide to do a 3, 4 or 5 way split, which is not common but also not unheard of considering the situation||

I disagree. I dont think luck really plays a role at all. In Sp, use Red and Blue to clear one room each. Keep them busy at all times. You go by yourself. So at all times you are clearing 3 rooms. That way you clear the building relatively quickly.
For the library i always recommend having a team of 3 going. Other than that, I find it pretty straight forwardy

Many levels are randomly generated and you must use standard issue gear from the era. That said, I think if you like RON, you'll like SDIF.
