For example in the Victor Getts mission in SWAT 3, I noticed that when I encountered the main suspect, he would do one of the following on initial contact: 1) Give up immediately. 2) Attempt to shoot us. 3) Run away.

These were clear behavior elements that was defined by specific traits in the game's code

And every time I loaded that mission, it was randomized within a set range

Since Victor Getts as a mission was supposed to be a beginner level thing.

But when I generated that mission with just a bunch of random suspects, things got wi-i-i-ld.

Because the more people in a mission, the more chances of different and varying behavioral profiles occuring

Right now, Ready or Not - if that game DOES have defined AI profiles like SWAT does, something is causing it to not properly show through in most cases

For instance, the stress mechanic Celdis mentioned

If you have a single overrarching mechanic that affects everything else, that's where the mistake was made

I don't really know how the swat 3 suspects work. I always found them pretty hard to arrest, mainly on later levels. Outside of the rate hiding behaviours they never impressed me too much
Though messing with God mode I found they got up to a bit more than you usually see since they either die or kill you in under a second anyway

Celdis, they were harder because their trait parameters were progressively more aggressive/resistant

By having that kind of sliding scale for key defining traits that determine how an AI behaves, it's easier for a developer to control the overall experience of a given map

Maybe do the training first if you haven't
Otherwise there should be single player and multilayer options
Quick play or Commander is what you want for single player

Commander is a bit more hard-core. You have to manage your squad more and they can die permanently
Quick play gives you a squad but you don't have to manage them at all

You have to use the coffee machine 16 times, each time you pick up the cup, you have to max crouch and pick up a penny at the bottom of the machine.

You then have to make sure the cup lands in the trash can, and then do the rest of the 15 times.

As instructed on the forums, BSODs are not normal for RoN, or for gaming in general. The game can crash, and that happens, but it shouldn't take down your entire PC unless your PC is letting it.

DX12 have caching, if you are running -> HDD/old CPU/etc.., you will have more complication.

DX11 my fps can easily be 20% more in my current setup, however the stuttering is real.

It depends on the setup you are running. Do a test on both, and wait a few minutes for the cache to build the first time you run a level or adjust the graphic settings( DX12)

Well looks like I already did that before 😂 for now after update looks like game runs better for me on old fx8350 after oc to 4,2 and gtx1050ti with little oc. Setting to medium, only textures, visual effects and view distance to epic. On dx11 40-50+ fps depends on scene ofc. Even textures loads faster with dx11. Not bad for now

Astral's AI adds a lot more of a difference between suspects
For example its much easier to get arrests from the gas station suspects than the nightclub ones
