For whoever is hosting the lobby: close the game, and then disable steam cloud save for the game. Then go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\ReadyOrNot\Saved\Config\Windows\Game.ini and delete the file. Then launch the game and the “banned” player should be able to reconnect

You may turn steam cloud save back on (choose to use local files) next time the game is launched

That is a reasonably valid take from the outside in, but the intent of the engine swap was to make use of new tools that are speeding up development, but it did introduce a unfortunate number of issues along the way.

The station swap was also both a long-standing project and something the team wanted as a whole. The space'll be utilized much better as time goes on.
