What is the difference between the material types for body armor? Like ceramic, Kevlar, etc? Does it actually do anything?

Steel blocks ~88% of damage and doesn't break and it reduces your maneuverability
Kevlar is trash

All you really gotta do is rush ammo box then go back to clearing the previous floors

Your loadout would be flash nade launcher, ballistic mask with the anti flash googles and the MKV (can be swapped to 5/7 depending on how confident your aim is but MKV is always safe since it doesn't matter where you hit them tbf)

Anyways now the other part of the loadout is tricky and up to you

You will want to go full launcher but have two slots for the following

Either just get one slot for MKV and keep the other one for another launcher shot or use up the other slot and get the taser

One slot of taser gives you 6 shots which is potentially 6 arrests if you know what you are doing and use it in CQC breaches

Another thing is your utility slot, my recommendation is the flash launcher once more just to have another free 4 shots off flashes, however you can also bring the shield to not get screwed up on the 4 floor angles

Use your rotary shots for some bad angles but in general you can just face tank everything with steel and shield and MKV is a broken gun so just hitting a shot or two is enough

Hard mode and just in general survival in the game is very RNG dependant so having the shield massively boosts survival through the roof while also letting you use the MKV so you dont lose any firepower

They still target whatever bone they see first however its good if they hit your legs

It means less shots to the visor meaning more use before it breaks leaving you vulnerable to those headshots

But visor HP plus ballistic mask 2 shot protection and that 33% ricochet chance means a lot in the long run

The biggest issue with full steel is that you are too slow to get into cover so you end up taking too much firepower, thats why light front steel is meta since it lets you metagame heals while being fast enough to get back into cover

With shield it means that you can mostly safely get back into cover while using full steel so its pretty good

And if they hit your legs that means more heal procs

Just tested it in game and they do use it on the enemies, the issue is that they take a very long time to actually engage the suspects, but that’s the same issue they’ve always had.

The teammate I actually gave the launcher to was lit up by a suspect, fired the launcher once into the wall (which somehow stunned the suspect all the same so fair enough ig) and then the teammate ended up dying by the second suspect we saw from the same issue

The game over screen will usually tell you how many suspects you’ve secured out of total suspects, the exact amount depends on difficulty and there is variance, maps have a minimum and maximum suspect count so you can get any number between those, and some maps have story suspects that are hard-coded to spawn, like dudes you have to apprehend
