Just move slow and steady check each room you enter and find a loadout you can control in firing range

Use free lean a lot, the suspects have a hard time noticing you if you lean too much, though that can also be a 50/50

The gun system is hyper realistic, so your bullets will hit just below your sight, your aim will be messed up by gunfire around you and recoil is more noticeable than other games

Don’t use full auto unless it’s a tight room with only criminals who are a threat, otherwise use semi for accuracy

Make your team use flashes / stingers and split your teams across doors so you don’t get flanked

Think of it like this. Higher calibres do a lot more damage then the previous “tier” if that makes sense

Running lower calibres is safer and tend to use smaller weapons

This also doesn’t cover how higher calibres are more likely to cause artery bleed.

I'm not going to patronise you, but try a mission where the suspects aren't using armor. You'll see that even with 9mm you'll be dropping them with ease. Armor complicates the levels in a major, major way.

I assure you that I was next to a postal truck all the way at the back shooting at a suspect who was rushing towards me from inside one of the loading bays.
