The longer they gunfight, the more likely you are to get hit.

Most maps are straight gunfights in hallways or small rooms, quick, concise.

AI kinda wonky but it works surprisingly well for a game this old with constant updates to the AI system

Cosmetics can be unlocked by mission rankings (getting S ranks will unlock cooler cosmetics)

Evidence lockers for deeper lore tidbits, not to mention maps you are on have a lot of lore laying around as well, look for pages or poster boards to find out stuff and piece it all together.

Commander mode is really fun, essentially putting RNG into perks you can have for your officers.

would you like to arrest suspects easier by affecting their morale more? or give more health and armor to your squad mates? Its all there.

Ironman mode is basically Hardcore mode. You die, your save gets deleted.

Theres a nice cosmetic if you complete the entire game on Ironman mode, but you and your teammates survive for the whole game

i was very impressed with what ready or not was going for in terms of world building and the aspect of being a swat bought the game on release and still loving it. i'm a swat 4 veteran i want the same immersion the other game gave me and it does that, i guess we will see where the developers are going in the future for the game. This censorship drama i don't really mind but i think cross-play is not always the option, some games do it well some games don't and is not always needed.

Partially the reason why we wanted the cross play was exactly because the console tactical community on consoles is so small. Allowing cross play helps foster that community and build our brand at the same time.

So question Kaminsky, as far as I'm aware the only version of RoN releasing physically is the standard edition, to get any DLC you either have to buy the digital deluxe edition or buy the DLC from digital storefronts for their respective consoles

Thing is, Commander mode is sort of ,,designed" to be boring in general, since your general pupose is to baby sit your AI and give them orders, they will do the rest. But, you need to think about how you place them, like, never use Auto stack up, always think how to approach the rooms and such. Launchers for example are sort of ,,OP" since they have a lot of impact on enemy's behavior, in terms of AI perks, i would recommend something like Riot Control, Negotator, Pacifier and Paramedic, you generally don't need anything else.
