When you and everyone else say censor though you’ve took that and ran with it because it’s barely censored at all it’s still one of the most fucked up and gritty games on the market and will continue to be that going forward with future content. I think it’s kinda that but it’s kinda the way the game is layed out and what the game actually consists off. Nobody is riding horses around screaming yee haw with revolvers and fighting Indians over their land anymore. But because this game is a depiction of law enforcement and the real world we live in and because there’s a ton of fucked up shit in the game already I feel like maybe they’ve been a little too strict on void.. it all comes into play.

i'd agree here too. i think having stuff like the cp and whatnot in valley of the dolls is obviously necessary and appropriate, but sometimes a lot of things in this game don't have the same 'realistic thing swat stumbles upon' vibe that swat 4 had and instead feel like they're constantly trying to one-up how 'badass dark edgy twisted' the last mission was.

I get stylization and art and all but it's really how you use it to your advantage a dark story can easily be told just as well with realistic graphics as it could with cartoonish graphics if it has the right direction.
More realistic graphics works better for RoN's stylization due to it's want of trying to convey that element of showcasing what's it's like for real police/swat but honestly with the right direction it's story could still be told in a different stylization.

I’ve been playing the game a lot recently. Completed all the in game missions and then started diving into modded missions. I downloaded a few mods from mod.io, but honestly, I was kinda unimpressed by the graphics quality in most of them.

I’ve played RedLibrary, MentalAsylum, Last Resort, and a few others. None of them really stood out in terms of visuals.

If any of you know mods with insane graphics, I’d really appreciate the recommendations!

On a side note, I was actually impressed by the mod Lustful Remorse—that one had some solid visuals

It really depends on the fact which weapon are you good with, for example I'm decent with the Sig platforms and currently use the ARWC only because i can easily handle its kickback but my other favourite is the MCX for the same reason. Medium caliber rounds good for dropping suspects and generally have a short barrel so its easy to control in a CQC. And for sidearm I use the Glock 19, thats just simply personal preference.

the main problem is crossplay. If this wouldn't be a thing there would be no issues. Two separate games, two separate environments just like Asetto Corsa Competizoine.

But devs decided to go for crossplay and that's where the issues come from

No, what I mean is that they care only about maximizing revenue, nothing else.
They indeed found a nische that made this game financially feasable, but then, they decided to squeeze the lemon even more. This "slight" change shows that it is what they're aiming for.

Void Interactive had to abide by Sony, Microsoft, and ESRB's rules. It was either that or cancel the release on console.

The censorship isn't that big of a deal. This whole review bomb mess is so unecessary. The fact that many people hating have the nerve to call other people soft when there the ones canceling pre orders, sending hate emails, hate messages on there YouTube, and buying the game just to give it a bad rating and refunding it shows who the real soft people are.
