Depends on the mod like an AI mod would require the host to have it installed for it to work but if it's a cosmetic replacer per se a reskin/retexture of some sort then that is client-sided and doesn't require the host to have it installed to work.

It depends on the mod, but there probably isn't a noticeable impact. AI mods do nothing but change numbers, they cannot do anything major that would impact the AI like that.

Number of AI does have a noticible FPS impact due to more AI controllers running

Yea I haven’t had an AI mod have a noticeable impact in my performance since the June update way back when and that was a AI mod that spawned more than a hundred suspects.

i saw a suspect running after spotting my beam, i think they changed it

at the beginning of port hokan so they weren’t alerted yet

It's was not changed, suspect can detect flashlight since 1.0, but only in some circumstances

Chan did discover that for the IR light portion of Chan's mod that suspects only could see it on first activation or something. So maybe the regular light isn't working as intented either

I have supporter's edition, it's not really that big of a deal you get HRT outfit, some guns and a different shield. The one gripe I have is that the ballistic facemask does not match with the supporter outfit itself (already posted a report on it)

You can't just "if (got_tased) then fallOver();". There's voice acting and mocap, you gotta hire ppl to do that, schedule them. Then you gotta edit the audio, process the video, render animations, make sure it fits and no vertices go flying when this one specific character does it. You've got the QA baking time, playtesting, tweaking. And that's assuming the code is actually that simple to write, which usually it's not

Not necessarily. You’re still busting down cartel leaders doors and stuff, but maybe they have some slightly longer range missions too like a big ranch, or an occasional marksman/sniper mission.

It’s still gonna be plenty of cqc, and still ready or not at its core.

But I feel like to expand on the human, drug, and gun trafficking lore present throughout ready or not and it’s cartel ties, I feel like it would be unrealistic to send Los Sueños SWAT to go hunt cartel leaders in Mexico. Hence why I feel it would be realistic to place the player in a federal LE or military unit.

I'm trying to get "The Fool" achievement, i.e. getting killed by a civilian. I went to the Valley map and I've gotten my lights punched out by the blonde woman three times now and the achievement isn't registering. I'm doing it on a friends only host, only me so no AI. What am I doing wrong?

This isn't the first time an achievement simply hasn't registered for me. The Hanged Man achievement is another, but I know that's a notoriously tricky achievement. But the Fool is meant to be real easy
