In the cases where you have at least one spare, do you go all in on one and restore it if it booms?
Do you upgrade two copies so you've always got one able to be worn?
Some secret third thing?

I'm a relatively new player who's been relying on Challenger Gear, so I'm not sure how to make the best of the upcoming SSFs

You can build up mesos and spares for the 2nd SFF for greater gains
