Whenever I attempt to verify my account I get this error message. I feel alone because I see no one else talking about it. Can someone help me please?

Never mind. I found this page online with a "Comprehensive explanation" for what the error code may mean, but it could mean DOZENS of issues. It is an extremely general error code that I may never know my issue...

Screw it. I am being spun around in circles verifying connecting verifying verifying just for them to tell me to "Navigate to the Reactivate page! =D" This is completely in comprehensible and tedious. I quit. I even tried making a new account. on a completely new browser with no adblockers. Forget it. and goodbye.

What are you trying to verify? The link you shared is for MS Classic which doesn't exist yet.

Based on our understanding of what's been trickled out to the gen pop so far, it's looking like Classic will be a sever in the GMS client.

Have you tried the actual MapleStory website and not the classic world site?

That's very strange - I've only seen this flag for people trying to access older accounts (like I ran into this trying to recover my OG account a couple years ago)

Did you play any other Maple games like M or Idle?

Are you perhaps playing from a place with a regional block? Are you using any sort of VPN? Have you tried to renew your IP address?

What is the domain of the email you're using?

Can you try to switch it to a Gmail address if you have access to that option?

Like make a brand new e-mail
Link that to your Nexon acct, verify, then your can try to switch back.

Okay! If you haven't already - submit a ticket on the Nexon support site from a new account.

Gather up any info you may need to verify that you're the owner of the account you're trying to access.
They'll ask you for info like previous emails associated, character names, if you've ever purchased NX and with what means, might ask you to list some old buddies etc.

I think your only shot is navigating support from a fresh account- the error you're getting seems to be an account protective error and you might be getting it because you've tried accessing the game from many different countries

Ask to escalate to a senior GM that specializes in account recovery if you haven't already been pushed forward

It's like pulling teeth with them - you need to be very specific

They said, "We are sorry you were having issues with trying to log into your nexon account! We have reset all of your credentials. Simply follow the instructions on your email, and have a great day!"

That's brutal my friend.

If it's worth it to you, you can reopen the ticket and ask for the escalation citing the error remains - but that's just tiring. It is unacceptable and it's embarrassing frankly.

Curious if you're using launcher or steam and if you've got any other credentials linked to your Nexon account (Google/FB/Apple) you could use as another venue of confirmation of account ownership

Of course that still involves dealing with Nexon's (lack of) support team

You'll figure it out!! Take a break from it for a couple days if you need. It's upsetting to literally want* to play their game and have them be so unhelpful.
