#MS Chromebook Compatability

You're pretty much limited to using GeForce Now in a browser
They stated a long time ago they were developing a Mac OS client, and they just released a version of it. I swear they also said they wanted to allow you to access maple from your phone. It would be up to them to allow a Chromebook to install it from the app store though, assuming they release both an android and iPhone version.
There is no Linux compatibility yet to run it through chromebook's Linux support.
Thank you!! It worked perfectly
access via phone is mostly a KMS only thing, they have their own app for remote desktop for maple playing that adds limitations on how much you can even grind while on phone
chromebook is linux, so youll have to wait for linux support, which is no ETA
as for phone, steam link works for GMS
chromeOS != linux. chromeOS can run a linux subsystem and linux apps but support for linux apps varies. sometimes when i'd run linux-compatible programs, audio wouldn't work
also did they actually come out with a phone client for KMS? Since when? I thouhgt it was still something in the works
chromeOS is based off of gentoo
its called nexon link or something, its not that exciting, sec
oh thats why its not even out for MS yet
I meant that you have to separately enable a specific feature to install software made for Linux
steam for chromeos is native
I forgot the steps I had to do to enable it but it was not a feature enabled by default, and it wasn't a perfect experience. If I wanted to use Microsoft edge for example I could use a version for Linux but there were various limitations. Audacity also had them too. It's been a while since I used my chromebook's Linux features tho
it uses proton through it, but yes the linux compat layer is usually disabled and has to be enabled
That's why I'm saying Chrome OS is not the same as Linux straight up though.
