Tanjiro Bossing Question

Hi, I just wanted a little clarification on something. I recently heard that boss clears for the event rewards on Tanjiro only count if you solo them. Is that actually true? If so, how is Lotus and Damien supposed to be beatable within the time frame of the event? My lvl 264 main still can't solo Damien (because im not a whale), yet we're expected to do so with TANJIRO?

If that's true, I feel so misled by this event. I thought I could play it casually and still get all the rewards, but is that only possible for whales with hundreds of billions of mesos to fund Tanjiro? Am I the only one upset about that?

Tanjiro has a powerful skill at 240 and get a perm fake Arcane Weapon at 250. Nlomien should be doable.

I am a new player and started playing because of the collab. I started tanjiro and got him to around 220. I then learned I needed a bunch of link skills and legion, plus tanjiro doesn’t have nodes or other bigger power boosts. I was also sad that I wouldn’t be able to get all the rewards and that my time was being wasted not investing in an actual main character 😦 I don’t think this event is meant for non established players
