Hey, my friend and I just generated a seed, he pressed F1, like to load a save state, than it happens
Note that we have just generated the seed 5mn ago, any ideas?

did your friend reuse a filename from a previous seed?
not in-game filename, ROM filename
most emulators use the ROM filename to determine which set of savestates to offer, so if you load a state you'll get one meant for a different ROM, which will very severely mess up the in-game save file
easiest way to start fresh is probably just to close the emulator, rename the ROM filename (add a -new on the back end before the .sfc or something like that) and load it again
you could likely just reset the emulator and delete the save file but changing the filename will make sure there's nothing from the old session being loaded

yep that's how it happened, there's nothing wrong with the seed file, it's just a consequence of loading a savestate from another ROM
