#How to Track While Playing?

I was wondering how all of the streamers I've watched play ALTTPR seem to be able to track what items they have and such while playing the game? Are they just THAT fast at alt-tabbing or do they usually use auto-tracking? If they use auto-tracking, is it possible to set that up with the RetroArch Snes9x core? How?

A lot of streamers do use auto tracking but just as often they are just clicking the tracker either on a separate monitor/part of the window that alt tabbing just isn't needed.

Or that they are playing on console and the game is on a separate screen entirely

Auto tracking does work on emulator but I'm not sure about RetroArch/SNES9x core.

RetroArch seems to do weird stuff that I've seen a lot of talk about it not working but I'm not really familiar with it

Even without autotracking, alt-tabbing shouldn't be necessary; you just run the emulator in a window with background input enabled, and you can track while you're walking across a screen.
