I don't know what the problem is and why it's only when it's a festive seed. Everything else works fine and I'm stumped.

Yeah, this seems to be a phenomenon exclusive to bsnes.

But it's weird that bsnes is like this only with festive seeds.

Yeah that is strange. There was a known issue like this before release but apparently it was determined fixed. Someone had the same problem with snes9x but they figured out some overclocking setting with that was the proximate cause

I can't seem to reproduce with bsnes though, not sure why it would affect bsnes in particular either

The specific bsnes I use may be a modified one to make scripts like Alttp Online work, but I'm not sure how relevant that is.
