Role play would normally consist of driving a posted speed, using traffic fines, the real fuel economy setting, having to sleep, basically all the features already in the game. Since the majority seem to go the max speed limit of the servers it is hard do even have a good distance between between you and the vehicle in front as people will always cut in front.

the role play aspect in this game is just to boring. What features do we have? Driving, sleeping, fueling up and then what.
You can't really compare this to any other games like gta roleplay or similar. This game is just way to limited for that aspect.

If you'd have the opportunity alone already to have a physical body and get out of your truck, there would be much other stuff you can do. Going into companies for paper work, loading the truck/trailer yourself, etc.
but that simply doesn't exist, thus imo the aspect of "roleplay" in this game cannot really be considered. Even without the racing c-d shenanigans, this game just feels more than a arcade game rather than a simulation/role play.

There is no system that would work to follow every user respectfully in a stat-manner in order to determine if he just ran a red light or is driving over the speed limit. It seems very unrealistic either way, in the real world you're just waiting for a speed trap or cops getting you either. You're not being tracked by the FBI 24/7

But that beats the case already. If you have no job, it doesn't track you. And proper tracking only really works when you have a job, that's how the game code is at least working as of current state. So your idea of a system where it tracks everyone driving at the given moment may is considerable, but not realistic and doable for TruckersMP.
