Not the greatest processor for ETS to be honest, there's a few things you can do to help performance, biggest thing that sucks FPS on TMP was my render distance, turn it to adaptive so when you enter largy populated cities like Duisburg the game automatically turns it down for you.

But to sum it up, low FPS is basically unavoidable in Duisburg, even my 4070 and 7950x3d drips below 30 every now and again

I'd take the G29 - I had it for about 10 years and never failed on me (except windows was striking obv) 😄

If you have the money I'd suggest the T300 RS GT it's belt driven rather than gear driven like the g29 so with the belt driven system it has smoother FFB and a nicer feel but the T300 RS GT is pretty expensive + if you won't be using it for racing the G29 is just fine for games like ETS2 while the T300 RS GT is more used for racing games in my opinion

The downsides to the T248 are loud paddle shifters and the Hybrid Drive system with a mixed belt and gear mechanism meaning it'll be less smooth than the T300 but the T248 does look a lot more modern and uses better pedals I believe but it's weaker when it comes to FFB
