Indeed you can, enter the name at the top right corner of https://truckersmp.com website and press Search button. However, there's a better method.

Which is it?

Look for a log file Documents\ETS2MP\logs\log_spawning_YYYY.MM.DD_log.txt for the specific date, it will contain the players you met on that day, with their names and TruckersMP IDs.

Also in the future, I strongly recommend enabling "Show TruckersMP ID" option in Tab settings (Tab -> right-click to release cursor -> gear icon)

That way, you'll always see players' IDs, they'll be reflected in the evidence too.

Buses are all freeroam unless you use DBus.

DBus is a software with programmed routes.
But unless you use the DBus software you can drive any route. So basicly without any external modifications the one bus that's in TMP is only freeroam unfortunately.
