So, working with that, and including dollies as trailers as the engine does... the above is the only way that would work
Update on my Ohio Valley area C2C project unfortunately progress has slowed due to work being a little crazier than usual. This means that my area will not be in C2C 2.8 however I am hoping to have it ready for 2.8.1 in a couple of weeks. Apart from some bugs and scenery everything is ready. I promise though it will be worth the wait.
TMP allows 5 trailers max in both games before you are automatically kicked, that includes both cargo trailers and dollies. However the rules they laid out for the trailer limit is that youre only allowed 3 trailers that can carry cargo. So that means at any given time you can only have up to 3 cargo trailers and 2 dollies.
Then you should try a 5 trailer combination in ETS2 MP, you get auto kicked. The limit is 3 in ETS2.
I wish the limit on ets2 was 5 @winter seal 
So do I, but lets be honest 99% of ETS players can't handle an empty truck let alone more than 3 trailers.
Yeah true we are the special few that are skilled

I don't think it's the template. SCS has made some changes to the code to add skins to the games.

99 tons, is that the truck, both Bs, and the heavy haul, plus the 67 ton load?
Or have I messed up my load programming somewhere?
It should tell the gross weight, a truck usually is a few tons, just like each trailer, I'd say approx 8 ton, could be more or less depending on configuration

The weight on a weight scale is all of your truck (semi-truck + trailers + cargo)
semit-truck si usually around 10 tons, the trailer depends on the configuration and cargo is what you see dieplayed in the cargo/freigmarket and in the job screen
67 + 10 + x = 77+x tons.
I've seen Turnpike Doubles with an empty weight of around 15 tons
Load loaders / Heavy transport trailers tend to be a bit heavier than a normal trailer-
So 99 tons seems reasonable @wet beacon
(and I forgot to mention that the fuel also adds a few hundred kilogramms to the total weight)

@reef bronze Depending on the config (1/2 axle dolly/jeep + type of trailer (refridge/box/tarp)) the weight is somewhere between 20500 and 22500 kg
aprox 20500 for tarp
aprox 21500 for box
aprox 22500 for refridgerated

You can get away with not having the mod so long as you don't log out of TMP while in the skoda/touch it in any menus. If you don't touch it the game doesn't update the fact it's a bunch of missing files and it'll still be there when you log back into TMP.

I can't for the life of me figure out how they are getting it so that the trailer sits at the fifth wheel

thats something i have noticed
i would suggest using a heavy cargo dolly but it wouldnt work due to the height differences between lowboys hook and standard trailer configs
The problem isn't the dolly, it's where the game registers the fifth wheel connection for the truck.
And somehow they managed to get it at the fifth wheel, while I only seem to be able to get it in the chassis. :/

I think the king pin from the truck that usually goes behind the second truck also has it's King pin further down. Idk why scs would do that but that's the only explanation why it would work with the trucks but not with a trailer behind it

chassis is what the trailer can hold and body is well a body

im assuming thats the intial connect from the white truck to the orange gooseneck to the main truck you drive
you wouldnt need to change the deff of the gooseneck
it should be the chassis of the container trailer if thats what your using
since your trying to go "truck > gooseneck > 2nd tractor > trailer > trailer"
the gooseneck, the yellow part, is part of the white truck

Where it says t680_white2 there are obviously multiple types of trucks and they probably have different fifth wheel heights for connections

That's the rear hook of the first truck and it's exactly at a height of 1 meter just like all other trailer kingspins and hooks... no idea why it doesn't work for you
I'm not sure why it isn't working but no matter what I do, the kingpin drops down into the chassis of the truck
yeah that doesn't make sense to me
and it floats around when I drive like it's chained there, not actually locked in
So when I hit the brakes, the rear trailer swings forward
and then rocks back

I took the truck transporter load in game
and used the "Search" function for "Assigned trailer" in the .sii file
and then found the trailer that way

So what I did
is I took the name of the trailer that I owned.
and I put that in the name of the trailer that Spieker made.
which isn't owned.
But because the name of the non-owned trailer is in my owned trailer section... it shows up as an owned trailer, even though I can't take loads with it
which I never intended to anyhow

maybe if you manually add a proper trailer_def for it you could even take loads
but that wouldn't really work because non-ownable owned trailers don't get assigned any cargo model even if on a job
and would empty the heavy haul

i was doing the mountain road with my double heavy haul yesterday
i removed the third since i kept getting stuck on the backraod xD
had to wait 40 mins at some point at the first switchbacks on main road
since traffic would not stop :D
nice i tried to make one
but it wouldnt work
my mate was like your stupid
but then i got a 2 trailer dolly
and swapped the chassis and body
and it worked instantly

I cannot get a double heavy haul up the logging road
My trucks just cannot get enough traction
I do
quicksave every straight just in case
i just floor it
i go wide
i had a recording but apparently like 6 of them didnt save :D
Like, getting the trailers physically up there I can do. the steering part is not the problem
it's the fact the lowboys end up bottoming out on the road itself and I don't have enough traction to pull it out
just really rarely it catches on a small bump
so just keep pulling a bit
u can do the road in one go
aslong as noone cuts u off mid corner
I'll figure it out eventually
But with these logging roads? SCS needs to add some off road or multipurpose tires
with more significant tread and less fuel economy

it works well for the corners
i even managed to do it in my old peterbilt longest chassis and im crap at driving those since not used to it
I can do the road with a long chassis, but perhaps it's the long chassis not putting enough weight on the back tired

add a jeep dolly instead of direct trailer
and give that a weight of like 2 tons

but with those extra jeeps
ofcourse u will get stuck
it likes to pull in the rear trailer

since in ets the rear trailer follows the trucks line and front trailer 90%
but in ats
it doesnt
that truck is against tmp rules because 1, parts collide, and 2, you are required to have headlights

the white truck is the "Cargo" on the yellow bar.

As per the save file, it is 5 trailers
the yellow bar and the WHEELS of the truck are one trailer
the body of the truck is the cargo
driving spomethink like that is ridiculous
Please remember guys, before you claim someone has broken the rules with having "Too many trailers", the game checks how many trailers you have and auto-kicks you

come to city with other player and im sure you will stuck on any crossroad

@kaos109 I put it in my Autosave. It takes some practice with editing. Buy a small basic trailer. Copy the nameless_2985y3405789 whatever from the basic trailer into the first trailer on that template
then overwrite the basic trailer in your save file with the template.
And hope you didn't break your game.

Just remember with how trigger happy mods sometimes seem to be, claiming someone broke the rules without basis is a good way to get them banned. Especially if the mod who sees it doesn't know much about Save Editing.

Now for the middle dolly, you want to do the same
but you'll need to add an accessory for the 28 foot body that you have on the first trailer
then save it.
go into game and you should have B + B + 28 foot A
remember! when save editing..
you can change the 0 at the back of any "_nameless.296.ab8c.9c20"
change it to a 1
and the game will accept it and rename it
that way you won't break your game with namelesses that are copies
just make sure that the accessories list and the accessory below both end in that 1

Nope, bugs at at 0 cargo weight. Seems cargo weight lowers the body and stops the clipping from occurring.
edit: Body of the 'towed' truck. When set to 0 cargo weight (the trailer still has an empty weight and thus isn't breaking rules) The trailer on the 5th wheels of the 'towed' truck is below the 5th wheel and will spaz out. I set the towed truck to 8000 and the towed trailer is now above the 5th wheel and thus not spazzing.

No, that is illegal
2 B class trailers, and 1 A class are the max allowed
So, B + B + 53' A is the biggest using B trailers. If you want the largest non-heavy-Haul, you would go for 45' hook + 2 axle dolly + 45' hook + 2 axle dolly + 53' trailer
Beware, the latter (2 45s & a 53) will not be fitting into anything except some farms.
I found the B + B + 53, most acceptable due to its shorter overall length and thus more managable size for the games industries.
So it really all depends on what you are looking for. Shock & Awe value, or gameplay value?
But I could use it in the Singleplayer.

Did you know that if you change every nameless to end with a 1? ATS will automatically rename it. If you change the initial trailer name to a trailer you own and overwrite the trailer you own with the new trailer, the game will accept it?

They are not allowed, 4x2 trucks I mean. I assume you mean the type I created first back in 2016 with invisible wheels - they were banned before 2017
But this is 2019. Now I have no idea how you would make a 4x2 without using mods but rule 3.1 doesn't really have anything that jumps out at me saying you can't do it.
So long as it doesn't add an invisible hitbox, make anything magically float (there would still be a pair of wheels at the back), crash the game and the vehicle actually works it should be fine.

Tmp did break it cause they added full support for the wheel tuning dlc and it made a tire become rendered for the other person if they didn't have the dlc or even if they did a regular tire was rendered

the reason why they cant is because licensing. TMP cant (legally) distribute a product with licensed material without the manufacturer's green light. even though cars are extremely obvious what they are, even SCS had to tweak them to not display the ACTUAL brand because they only have permission to use cars in their likeliness, not the actual product. like, if you look the rear of the ford raptors, they dont say ford, they say frog. the isuzu elf box trucks say isusu. and even with the railroads, BNSF is displayed as BFSN. TMP staff got EXTREMELY lucky with the permission for the skoda superb (which is a real car). so unless you got some money to fork over to these american manufacturers to acquire the licensing to use said cars, quit complaining and asking because ITS SIMPLY NOT HAPPENING ANYTIME SOON. educate yourselves. the answer to this is beyond obvious and the fact that you simply wont just makes you seem whiney every time you "why cant we have...." this, or "its not fair we dont have...." that.

theyre all tweaked to not display their legal badges, which is exactly why i said SCS has permission to use them to their likeliness. the skoda has its badge. theyre all named the same in the game files because its easy to locate the things instead of trying to figure out what a "frog raptor" is every time youd have to update the model.

SCS gets permission to use said basic models as long as the actual models themselves do not use their badges

After talking with the creator of the Coast to Coast mod I've decided that it would be best to do mine as a seperate mod temporarily. It will be eventually fully added into Coast to Coast when it is all ready but this way I can release my updates as they are ready.

You just took a huge sledge hammer to an entire portion of the community. I don't care about speed limiters, but wiping out the entire save editing community was a terrible decision that I hope you roll back. For myself and a large number of others this decision has essentially killed all interest in the game, interest that stemmed from my ability to create interesting and fun trailers and drive them with friends. The ATS Modding community was a fun, tight knit, and good group of people to work with and you've essentially gutted it with this decision. Your mod has no traffic, and is completely vanilla. That makes non-populated games like ATS completely and utterly boring. There is no challenge or fun. If you just look at the steam workshop you can see modding the game is a huge part of the draw to this game, and the fact you've essentially made that illegal is frankly a terrible move.
I'm disappointed with your decision in this regard, and I hope you roll back the save editing changes.

We find fun and interesting things to do to make things more exciting since they don't want to bother adding making things more interesting themselves, and what do they do... ban it. Doing things like triple 45' trailers and the "tow truck" were causing no harm to anyone else at all, and they just decide to ban it so they feel good about themselves. I'll definitely be sending in a feedback ticket too!

I have seen the rise and fall of the save editing rules and I honestly can say ats falls in player base when the rules are like the way they are now
I am disappointed also. Why on earth tell people they are allowed and then change it. I like eagle love making new and interesting loads to pull around ATS. This will make a lot of people leave the game.

i can understand that but the name of the game doesnt matter bro if for everyone to play how they wish i sorry but i change my tv from x rated stuff to pre- school and childrens shows to match the game now ๐
they should just make it so the rules of such dont apply with the arcade server since its basically a no collision battle royale. simulation i can understand to an extent because simulation is literally synonymous with real. and a lot of the save edits simply werent.(and honestly i really hated how often people kept getting in the way or stuck because they kept taking ridiculous combos like 55L doubles or turnpike triples up the logging road JUST for the sake of showing up where people were and ultimately clogging it for the people trying to actually get jobs) so as long as they re-tweak that i think it atleast be mediocre at best.

I know cause I showed up there the first night after the update and it was clogged before I even showed up with just a a simple turnpike bottom dump triple and I was the only one on that road with a load that long and I made it up and down that road with no problems cause people took turns and game mods were helping keep order and traffic flowing as fast as possible up and down the whole road
i never said the roads werent clogged before that, only that they got clogged unnecessarily due to the people who would drive up just to U-turn and drive back down. atleast with big sur everyone was doing the event and making it something. im not specifically calling you out, so chill out. but its more than clear theres still hundreds of other users who cant drive at all, dozens of which who know how to save edit, and get stuck just trying to pull in/out of the freaking truck dealer. and "stupidly long trailers" would qualify multiple 55L and turnpike triples
