Support class isnt very good anymore. Officer class has also been nerfed to oblivion.
Attack class is pretty well rounded class. Taking the super fast shotgun ability and toxic gas with you is good too.
Dont have much more advice as i have mostly played it back when it was released but its still fun

You can also level up fast in Co-op and get your guns upgraded there

much faster than in Multiplayer

my tip for you: disable the end / remove core protect, takes a lot of memory / find a server which has a better single-threaded cpu / put a cap on this mc server, and buy a second one.

cloudnet has two types of templates

global templates and service templates

global templates are merged in with service templates to build your task

(tasks are servers)

so we dont even have duplicate plugins

the symlink stuff is a custom patch we put on, without it it just copies

but yeah

very fun

most of the effort we have to put in is actually just writing the json files that define the services

cloudnet does the heavy lifting for everything else after that

port assignment, dynamic servers in bungee, anti bungee exploit

its amazing

it also means

if i modify the global template

any future tasks that are made will have the new changes

and i can do a rolling restart of any old tasks

which is very nice

all tasks are temporary (unless set to persistent) so after they are turned off their data is wiped

but logs are kept

global templates include the server software too

so, the server template (actual mc servers) have a tacospigot jar in them

cloudnet also can download these jars for you

and make service templates

if you don't want to manually configure

the proxy one is especially useful, actually

we have a patched bungee jar (we patched the tacospigot jar as well for some extra spicy performance)

and it can automatically start up another proxy, move everyone over, and take down the old proxy

without anyone noticing except a quick server switch

speaking of proxies

iirc it can handle multiple bungee proxies and does load balancing for you

which is ace

because it means if i ever get a big enough network i can just issue more proxies and servers

and i believe it has its own sync system but you can also just use redisbungee

i doubt i will ever need to since you only need multiple proxies for tens of thousands of players

but if it ever comes to it, i can
