okay so I tested it. Cities: Skylines takes about 30 mins to load for me, and all that because I (only) have 16 gigs of ram. It seems like the game loads all mods right into the ram. If that stuff wouldn't just be that expensive :I

idk if you know, but the cells of the SSD have a limited amount of writes/rewrites, and after that, they die. that over-provisionning space is used to replace those dead cells to keep a constant disk space, without data losses

Question to anyone who might be able to know or help:
As Steam is having its annual summer sale, I'm looking for different games to try, and since I enjoy the Euro Truck and American Truck Simulators of SCS Software, I've kinda been looking at getting a train simulator. I see TS2019 is available, but I see there are mixed reviews on it, so I don't necessarily want to spend money on a game that won't end up working properly or has issues that turn folks away from it in droves. I'm looking for one that is similar to ATS and ETS2 (not terribly difficult to play yet fun to play, user friendly, etc.).
What Train Simulator game do you folks know of or would recommend? Please ping me with an answer ASAP. ๐

New important decision time
Seeing as Team Corgi won the Grand Prix, and I received a total of 27k tokens, I was eligible for a $6.00 discount perk when redeemed for 15k tokens. So I set out to grab Elite: Dangerous, and the Borderlands Handsome Collection (giving me all of the Borderlands 2 DLC, plus BL2, and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel (which totals up to $250), for 6 bucks.
TL;DR I'd like some opinions on which of these three games from my wishlist would be the best choice gameplay wise, so I can get more out of it for the prices that it is.

Wishlist choices:
Total War: Empire (Definitive Edition) - $6.99 (strategy game from the TW series based around the British Empire)
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - $10.19 (rooty-tooty cannon-shooty oh and there's pirates and open world exploration)
Ultimate General: Civil War - $11.54 (strategy game based around the American Civil War of 1861-1865)
I have played AC IV: BF on the PS3 years ago, and loved it to bits, so I know what that one is like, but I'm debating getting it for the computer this time. As for the other two, I'm not sure.

Though they use very different approaches
One called Orbital uses LLE (Low Level Emulation) which does emulation of the software, kernel etc. which currently has issues getting beyond safemode
Another one runs Megaman Collection perfectly and stardew valley with some issues, beyond that we don't know yet

normal headlight fixtures don't work on every car
and modular headlights work on a lot more than normal headlights
they work with almost anything from after the mid 80s if you do it right

once you get it down, you can pull off some incredible designs
