Gaming laptops nowadays aren’t that bad anymore cooling wise, my 1660 ti is at a steady 75C when gaming

When gaming I'll hit temps as high as 95C on the CPU and 80/90 on the nvidia gpu

However, if I'm gaming I'm more likely to use my desktop. The laptop was mainly for university work and so I could get some reasonable CAD work done and renders whilst on the move

I'm using the T150 right now and can say I'm pleased with it, the only fault I can personally give it is that the included pedals are only braking and accelerating. There is no clutch pedal for a possible shifter in the future.

There is an option in windows to enable quick boot after shutting down, if left on it can sometimes stop the computer from turning off via the main power button

I have a mix of songs in a folder on my desktop, I have all the album and album artist the same so that when i put it onto itunes it shows up on my phone as an album, but whenever i try to copy it over to itunes, all the songs come up but they come up individually instead of in an album

is anyone in here familiar with the current computer tech that is out there? My laptop decided to simply poop itself with the new graphics update in 1.38 so I am in the market for a tower pc this time. Budget would be 800€. With ets2 in mind, should I rather go for Nvidia or AMD? Or does this matter at all? I have red multiple lists of what "the best gaming computer" in this price range is supposed to be, however every list is different. Some take RTX 2060, the next takes a RX 5700. I am a little lost now tbh...

I have a GeForce 840M graphicschip (not a card), A U4200 dual core processor (3.2ghz overboosted), 120gb ssd, 500gb hdd

and all of that crapmed into a 17" laptop so it has some heat issues of going at full "power"

Yep, one brand might modify the card to be faster, or have better cooling etc

And it just doesn’t have the specs to run ETS2 smoothly

It has an Intel core i7 10th gen, but I’ve been having some issues with it. Most of all, the speed it gains temperature. I play Roblox or ETS2 for at LEAST 2 minutes and my laptop is as hot as my house’s patio in the afternoon

This computer is the closest to the router, literally the router is on top of this computer as that's where when they installed the router a few years ago the only location it could go ironically. My computer is connected using a 30m cat6 ethernet cable through the attic (loft space). It used to be connected with powerline adapters but got annoyed with them disconnecting.

When troubleshooting I made sure my pc was the only one connected, etc but got to assume now it was that update
