They work fine for me. Speedtest around 100mb/s which is pretty good compared to wifi (15/20mb/s)
Only issue is if you have old wiring or some devices which 'leak' will cause interference

Is your psu powerful enough for another 1070 ti? And does your motherboard have 2 16x pci-e slots? If yes, then it's probably the cheapest option
But you should check the games you're playing with, because sli isn't always properly used

@light palm so they use the power cables in your house for the internet connection. Nothing is done wirelessly unless one has a wireless thing on it. That's used to connect your devices to it but it won't wirelessly connect to the router, that's only done using the power cables in your house

It was cheap and I've had issues in the past with stock coolers so it was a no brainer.

The AMD coolers seems to get pretty decent reviews from what I've seen, then again AMD actually redesigned them for their new processors rather than doing what Intel did which is use the same cooler for every CPU...

Windows 10 is really incredible. I swapped my m.2 from my old motherboard with an Intel processor and put it on this new one, reboot and absolutely everything works as if nothing happened. Really really nice !

though it's always had a problem with cold booting when it's had no AC power plugged in (could be a dead BIOS battery)
Mine will power cycle about 3-5 times before it boots, often resetting the BIOS to default
