To add to that, some games will favour faster loading times with the SSD, so you might have to move things around often depending on what you play

If you want to change the location of a user folder, right click on it, then click Properties.
Then click on the "Location" tab and change it to a folder on your HDD, it will then ask you if you want to move your existing files to the new location

@sand valley whilst you've been trying to get the wheel to work have you seen a green blinking light flashing, if so the power lead for it is unplugged somewhere, failing this the switch needs to be set to PS4 (to the right) for the PC to use it.

yeah, I just got in from work at the time and that was what came to my mind before scrolling up but alas I have found the solution as I had the same issue literally just now and been trying to troubleshoot it anyhow here are the steps I took and it resolved the issue:
- Go to Big Picture Mode
- Go to your game library
- Find ETS2 and click on it
- Click "Manage game" on the left side
- Click "Controller Options"
- Set "Use Steam Configuration for Non-Steam Controllers" to "Global Setting (None)". My setting was on "Forced (on)" and the wheel wasn't recognized.

been going back and forth between game versions of ETS2 - before the 1.34 update and after. What I've found on my setup is it seems to hang on the controller page where it says about detecting controllers in the game with the current version (1.34).
If I roll the game back to 1.33 or forwards to 1.35 then the steering wheel is detected almost immediately. If you were to roll the game back to 1.33 then you might be able to have the steering wheel detected as well if this is the issue, if so set it up as you would do usually and then update the game again to 1.34 and it should remain there for you @sand valley

So I'm having quite some issues recently about my Win10-PC freezing frequently. Every fifth time or so when I open MP4 videos on my drive, my screens freeze. Applications keep running, which I guessed from still being able to hear the sound. I can't alt+F4 the video player, nor can I ctrl+alt+del or tab out. This results in me forcing my pc physically to shut down. Since I know this isn't healthy for my machine, I'm asking here if anyone had this problem and if so, how he/she solved that problem. The app with which I open the videos is the win10 standart, should be called something like ,,Movies & TV". Thanks in advance :)

Maybe try testing it with another GPU or using your integrated GPU if you have one to exclude other errors. Then if you still have warranty swap it out
Well the GPU has dedicated things just for media Encoding and decoding, maybe something went wrong there. Could also be a software issue, maybe try reinstalling your OS. I'd try using another GPU first though

Hi techy guys! I'm having a weird issue for some time on Discord. I get packet loss no matter what. I have a pretty fast fiber optic so that's not the problem imo. I'm connected via LAN obviously and my PC is quite good still. I've tried everything but I still have that annoying lag when listening to music. I've tried different bots, servers, same thing. How can I fix it??
Sometimes i got constant packet loss, the % goes up to 10% and the audio is impossible to listen to, I'm getting stutters every 3-4 secs rn

Hello. I was wondering if anyone here was well versed in getting older hardware working (properly) on newer systems.
In my case, an older generic steering wheel on windows 10. The wheel registers just fine, and responds to input, however the pedals are reading as buttons instead of axis. The wheel came with a software cd (one of those small discs) but unfortunately, it is cracked and proving unreadable on every attempt to use it.
Trying to look up the information on it results in nothing, as it is a generic brand. Closet I can get is a few ebay listings.
I would also like to note that two buttons on the wheel actually read as the Z axis and Z rotation.

It's a ps2 (or 3, it reads as ps3 on the computer, but has the port of a ps2 controller along side the usb.) It is labeled under the name GigAsus 3 in 1.
I've seen a few variants, including a Gran Turismo branded version, so it's likely been copy pasted through several different company names

It's not a bad wheel honestly. All the buttons work and it does well with turning. I've been using a controller for a while now, but I find it hard to make the turns with a stick.

if you go for Linux, you can drop the SSD and get more performance elsewhere (if you prefer), but Windows and Mac definitely need the SSD
