I have costum plates, but not as costum as that one, for me the plates get removed if you move the trailer or truck to a other garage, not sure if it's the same with that one tho

Just as a tip to not move the truck ur plannen to edit the plates, but just quick drive :p

Perhaps save edit, although I'm not sure if that always worked, I had a sunshield thing wich wasn't compatible with a mirror, I placed the mirror anyways and the save crashed until I reverted the changes

incompatibilities, defaults and overrides are defined for the individual accessories in the mods so you could edit those

and mods can't really change the game mechanics in itself so that would be your only option

Weak pc won't give good FPS with mods, do not use any mods and try to play in low-medium settings

You can also set the graphics to low and then manually increase individual settings

Well, there are mods for everything basically depending on the truck you have, you can find modded body parts, interiors, add-ons, lights etc... It doesn't affect tmp, local mods are loaded via save editing with hookups, so you will be the only one to see your modifications. It's a bit complex process if you don't have experience with save editing

Also if your modifications cause lag or troubles to other players, it might lead to a punishement

In 1.26 the whole truck is part of one model, now everything is in different models. During that process they (as seen) decided to give the rigid chassis it's own model even though thy could've simply removed it

That's because of the said tuning pack compatibility which they apparently thought of. Since all the parts (bumper, lights, grill) can now be changed it wouldn't make much sense to keep it in the chassis model bcs it would cause overlap

the alternating chassis doesnt have the beacon slots

To use that type of cargo you need the dlc Heavy cargo or High power cargo (check in steam what kind of cargo they give, I don't know exactly all the cargos from all the dlcs). To have 2 different trailers with 2 different cargo you need to save edit it or you need to use mods to custom the trailers from the steam workshop, first in single player, to be able to use them in multy later

It's in italian, but you should find that option in the same location, untick that box first(it's to disable the cloud save). After that go in this path: "C:\Users\"yourpcname"\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles", copy and paste the folder called similar to "72735.....", on your desktop. So if something goes wrong, you can just copy back that folder in "profiles" folder and have back your profile with your last save

First go in steam and right click on et2, then properties, to enter in that screen above

So you can "destroy" your current profile how much you want and make tons of tests, without worrying to much. Take care of it (backup) , that is the folder where all your progress and profile is.

So if you install the mod and keep crashing or nothing works, you can simply delete the folder in your profiles folder, and paste a copy of the backup from your desktop and have all back

Unpacking these files will most likely not give you anything useful. Technically, these files can be unpacked/decrypted, but it will be impossible to assemble any mod or something similar from the resulting set of files.

Hi! I'm trying to get two steam workshop mods to work in game but they aren't working. They work fine in Single player 1.41 as far as I'm aware of. Do I need to do anything more than add them to my profile on SP via the mod manager? The mods are a triple trailer mod and a Double trailer anywhere mod. Any help is appreciated!

Yep. You’d have to download the mod, enable it in single player, buy the trailer. Then you can head into MP and it’s there.
