The box thing that is called “lightbox” you can get them from local modding discords 🙂

And it sits on the place where lights go. Is it a white light background and then you edit the dds file that goes over the light so you can make it look/say whatever you want 🙂

Local modding can literally change the complete feel of your truck. And the good thing is. You make it how you want it. Doesnt have to fit what scs want

So before i learnt local mod i was like oh thats okay i guess. Now i cant wait to jump in my truck and drive

How to know which profiles which one?

I have a few ones I want to copy paste my settings to all of them

The way to do it is go to the profile you want to copy settings from and make a quick save then go into save folders and see which one has date modified as today when you made the save

I have bought all the required DLCs for ProMods to work. Downloaded all the mod files and pasted in mod folder in Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder. The file tester said all the files are error free too. But I can't seem to find any mods in the mod manager.

Fyi, I never installed any mods, ProMods is the start.

I just tried to install a mod from Steam workshop and opened the vanilla version of the game and the mods do show up. I enabled them all and it all works perfect, but when I open the game through TruckersMP, I can't find any of them.

I don't think it is possible to resize other license plates, but you can use a different font:
license_plate: "<font face=/font/license_plate/uk.font>TEXT</font>|italy"
Also, you can change size of font if add this xscale=1 yscale=1 after uk.font (values can take 0.4, 0.9, 1.3 etc.)

You can do a lot, from replacing existing parts from a truck to another, adding accessories, replacing engines, transmission etc.. also changing money, fuel etc... almost everything xD. Also knowing how to save edit you will be able to load local mods (external mods that will be seen only by you but work in multy). This give you a lot of range of customization and in the experience you want to reach

That save edit doesn’t look like it breaches rules, so you should be okay. However if you’re unsure I’d personally advise speaking to a close friend who owns the game and has tmp, to see if it’s causing intentional lag, and make appropriate changes if it is, in compliance with the rules.

Mind helping me understand it a bit more?

If we take this screenshot as example, just imagine that there is no cargo on either of those trailers.

If I save edit straw bales on to the first trailer and from there it's not a job but just part of trailer. If then I go to a company and take a regular job, for example a random container, will the cargo from the job spawn on second trailer or is it sort of bricked at that point and nothing will show up?

the cargo is part of the trailer either way. If you deliver you cargo, all cargo will be removed from the trailer, it doesn't matter if it's from a job or save-edited. I'm not 100% sure what happens when you take a job but I believe it will just (re)place it on both trailers

I did a small save edit to add second light bar on top. Is it normal that when you go in game and try to change anything on the truck, some of the light bar beams get removed?

Friend who took the screenshot has basically all DLCs besides the HS Schoch, which is the DLC from where the main lightbar comes from.

I hit up another friend who has the DLC and we verified that the save edit is showing up for them as well.

i have had a combi with a tanker and and flatbed, it takes cargo like ussualy since it was marked as a single trailer in the files instead of a an HTC, but if you want cargo to stay on, dont take jobs

i'm pretty sure it doesn't make a difference whether it's marked as single trailer or hct, it just depends on the type of body in the trailer def. And if it can spawn a cargo or not I think depends on the body or trailer data. and if you have flatbed and tanker it works fine because it can't spawn a cargo on the tanker anyway

As you need to activate it in the mod manager of your chosen profile, you can have two different profiles. One with the mod activated and one without 🙂

I think one of the safest ways is to use a xp / money mod from the official Steam workshop of ETS 2 🙂
