Also somethin to consoder is that the new 13 litre engine is fairly new engime built up from nothing.. It has its flaws yet uncovered, and what i'v spoken with others who have also 450, the mileage varies quite a lot
Atleast older holsets are built so that it bypassed some air through the axle so that it centers it, also atleast on my own car, which runs at 3bar at best, the turbo lets some oil past it for some reason, and its new. The engine is tight and in tick, even for 900,000+km.. Its just that when you start to push the limits, the oil doesnt forever stay there.. Eventually it vaporizes or burns
Besides, diesel is oil aswell, both burn just fine, thrres nothing to worry about oil burning really.. As long as thats not the main source of fuel, all is fine
