I think all you need is just a tablet and a logger if you really want it, all that hub-bub with the engine bull shouldn't matter - unless they modified the rule.
Forgot which program I used, let me find it
Something called Keep Truckin.
we us bull haulers would like to keep it old school paper logs and another thing that just make sme go what the crap is the DEF theres no point in it
No, isn't. I think I started my career driving a 2013 Freightliner and those darn things always broke down. Strangely the Internationals seemed to be okay with it.
I lived in Iowa for two years and my brother-in-law at the time drove for a local farm up there, somewhere in Clinton. He drove an old pete himself and showed me all the doohickies with the tablet and logging. They hauled grain down south to Tennessee or candy for the cattle down there or back depending.
yea all i run is peter 379 and pete 389 and wilson trailers
They are beautiful beasts.
I was a refer hauler, so I never got the priviliage of driving them.
i am trying to get rid of my freightshaker
What year is it?
i will post a pic
Sure.
Oh man that's a beauty. Just asking, what's the price you running on it?
Miles and whatnot?
$90k and 900k miles it has a 18 speed Allison tan with a cat signature 600 chipped to 750
its an freightliner'
thanks an ddo u think this is wierd my dad who is 40 works for is son which is me and i am only 25 and i have 5 trucks me my dad and and 3 other drivers and 5 bull wagons and 5 hopper bottoms and looking to add some belt trailers
sorry dont have known with Americano trucks
That's awesome Carson. My dad drove in the 80's, a freightliner cabover (forgot what year) for a local company around where I live. I finally managed to get into the industry some four years ago.
yea we pretty much olny haull fats to the killing plants and in the spring and fall the haul grass cattle
Hahaha
I think in my limited experience some the friendliest (in terms of advice) have been bull haulers. All they ask is for you to stay in the right lane. I thought about it, even had a chance with a farm, but I decided to stick to hauling frozen goods coast to coast.
Come to think of it the place I thought about got hit by DOT for an accident they had, so maybe it was luck I didn't do it.
yea us bull haulers like to have the left land to are self
That and tankers. Honestly I can put parking lots in there too, I had some memoriable conversations with a fellow who owned his own business. And yeah, you ain't kidding. Driving through Texas all I saw was a zoom and a boom.
yea i hate running in texas because the DOTs thinks its fun to stop us because we have so many axles the trucks have a total of 4axles adn one of them is a puller adn the trailers have 4axles
Yeah I noticed that. I don't think I've seen many with that many axles, but I saw a few near Nebraska and South Dakota.
thats all we run cuz we can haul a gross weight of 110000 pounds
but i am alwasy over weight one day a DOT thought it would be a good idea to bring out the portable scales and se said drive up on them and it read 131320 and they he heard them start popping until they busted in half
If I remember correctly, last truck I drove was on the axles at 11,800 I believe and the typical refer loads were from 14,500 for medical and 32,300 for maybe ice cream or barrels of preserves. I hauled some cucumbers from florida to wisconsin a few times, that totalled a comfortable 44k.
I have no idea why I said 79, I would have been absolutely overweight.
But yeah, 131 is overweight yeah. You're hauling cattle tho, the goal is to get as many as you can.
Isn't that right?
that is correct and they were fats coming from the feed lots at north Platte Nebraska going to the killing plant in fort Morgan Colorado
You're an inspiration, driver. I got into my groove doing regional southeast before I came off the road this Janurary. Making me scratch my chin and ponder doing it again. I planned to at least stay off for a couple months to simmer down and whatnot.
Looking at myself and thinking I done my part when I hadn't, folks like you that make the wheels turn, due respect.
thank you like they say if they ant turnin u ant earnin
Very true
or my favorit is
ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
If not for
Bull haulers
The fast lane
Would rust
ik when i got my first peterbilt brand new they had a governor on it set for 65 and i took it back to peterbilt and said take that governor off
I drove with a 63 mph governor, I was company. Man I always dreamed of doing it fast, I tell you. I heard so many horror stories of how governors ruin engines even before their 100,000 mile overhaul.
Now, if those stories were tall tales or shooting the boot, I don't know, but I recall them.
i have a buddy that his trucks are limited to 65 and at 60k he had to overhaul every single one of them
wtf
I didn't think the seals didn't sit till around....
what, 90k? Am I wrong?
At 60k the engines should still be brand new!
but it probly didnt help that htey were frieghtliners eiher
Okay be safe driver
U too driver it's time to load and warm up the fast lane
Another bullhauler? ๐ค ๐
Lame
Gotta get money somehow, lol
Well I just got done loading I was help someone else help load and I just pulled up on the ranch scales and I am grossing 120000 pounds
wew
Hey carson, that pete driver was looking for you
@willow cove
He said he's a bull hauler too I think
Now time to heat up the left lane watch out 65mph stay in the slow lane
Drive on, driver.
$5 says that some 65mph truck is got to be in the left lane trying to race another truck in the slow lane
JB Hunt^
HAH
Or swift or ups or fedex
yup
Swift is getting better, but not with the dang rookies
Not like Werner, I heard that they're going under, is that true?
Probably
Hear about Swift and Knight merging?
Old news
Dang, I'm behind.
It's just the rookies that make Knight and Swift have a bad rep
I agree.
All rookies once (I fairly say with four years under my belt I'm still a rookie).
Pete did u the pic I posted
Yes i did
It's true
And stupid 4-wheelers
Yeah, that too.
I hate texasDOTS with a passion
Because they have a thing for pulling over anyone pulling a quad
What u pull
Cattle
Ik that like trailer wise
Wow all we have is Pete's and Wilson
This is my ride... mostly
What's that puddle underneath there?
Looks good overall.
Shes pretty
Theres my ride full owner
Mines the only freightliner and I am trying to get rid of it
That's cause the trucks a hard worker, ain't it
๐ She is pretty, candy apple red if I'm correct?
What year?
'01
Nice.
Welp there goes 1200 out the door
My dad just called me and said hey I had to call a tow truck he had just got fuel and was get back in the road when he lost all power well he looked in the mirror and his drive line was laying on the road
Welp
That's healthy
It my dad he bought the truck but it's under my name he gave me the money to buy it the way he wanted it so it's his deal
So um carson
Yes Sir
I never played farming simulator before, just the 2015. How is the 2017?
It's way better
Nice, you hauling the cattle in there right now?
Makes sense. What equipment you like using?
John Deere all the way
Hell yeah.
Well I am getting off here I got to get fuel and I am going to eat then take a 2hr nap and burn up that Left lane again
Okay, keep the shiney side up driver.
Whatchu going to? Tyson?
Cargill?
I think Tyson is Cargill tho
One of them merged I think
Cargill I bet I will be sitting in line for 3hrs anyways
Yup. I had a refer and the first dang thing they always did was force you to back into the washbay, regardless if you went to blue beacon or not.
Anyway, stay safe driver.
U too and be safe out @pete359
Think he went to rest, or maybe went flattop.
cya!
Well time to warm up the flattop
@vapid harness wish me luck pulling into the scales
I will try
I love it, how this channel has now drivers from both sides of the lake
Yea
Half year ago it was just me.. Now theres handful of us
yep
Waste compactor and conveyers
Coolio
Ugh, going to the recycler then?
Well I unload this morning and of course I had to wait in line for 3hrs just like I said would happen
3hrs isnt bad
I sat 16 hours for my unload time last summer.. Long plates and other semi trailer crap was told to come ask again next Thursday, it was saturday..
Airfreight and minimum waiting of 5h at Bruxelles๐
I had only 116 eur pallets of tomato...
Damn ๐
Well I haul cattle
It was even more fun to unload as it was to load
Your load moves on its own
Mine doesnt
And my tomatos were in 2 levels throughout the truck and trailer
So i had to take the 3 pallets from floor, then take the 3 on the ceiling.. And then push the crossbars to the ceiling and repeat whole 20 metres
Just removals now, wished it walked itself๐ dont have the patience for waiting. Damn, thats a lot of work, how long does that take ?
I was done with whole pipe in about 2 hours, had truck and trailer next to each other on dock
Well animal welfare is key
2h is freakin long. Although 20 mtr is too. You keep walking then
I had electric thing
That saves the legs ๐
No way in hell i could just reach to 1.5m in air to take the 2nd story pallet down
I never worked with double loaders. I believe our new truck is getting it. But i aint too happy with it๐
@vapid harness and @willow cove I rolled across the scales at the killing plant and they go ur overweight and they tried getting a dot to ticket me and I said u want these freaking cattle don't u and they said yea and let me get in line god do I hate cargill
Double decking is fun
As long as its cubical pallets and not pallet wrapped
Tomatoboxes are best
But to hell with any cheeses or milk products that are just piled on the pallet and wrapped
Ah , well we are doing removals so i aint too happy with. ๐ milk goes sidewards i think?
The film sticks to each other so hard and when you take one pallet down, it pulls half a pallet from next one in line
@harsh tapir Pretty idiot move of them I think. They are picky though. I remember having to wait for 34 hours once just for a load of beef up north, and this was at their Kansas plant.
They love being picky to me just because I have do many axels
Thats shit man.
allso i love the tomatos, you get damn good freight from it.. 116 eur pallets equals about 74 FIN floorspace, and my truck fits 40 normally
๐ ๐
And tonnes sit somewhere around 70-78t lol
Dafoq. Thats pretty heavy๐
I have a total of 8 axels that's truck and trailer combined
Got 2. More then enough๐
Thats somewherr in 165,000lbs btw
@storm tangle when I loaded last night I pulled up on the feedlot scales I was grossing 120000pounds
I think most tonnage i managed to get 78t on my 64t combination...
๐ damn. I aint about the weight. Gotta get it in myself and out. ๐
12t isnt much overload yet..
Till u get the ticket๐
I wont
Well when the weight limit is 80000pounds
And I am not permitted to haul that mug weight
Here its pretty strict. They have scales in the road. All they get is a sign and the police is in front of you
We usually know withn like 15min when police puts up a dyno on the road
And thats enough for detour
Pretty fast still
Drivers talk to each other
I roll across the scales all the time
Word gets around fast
Especially when our route has no spare time to waste, its clocked exactly 4.5 hours a side and unloading and loading has been reserved 4 hours max
Here most dont talk a lot with each other. Only swearing. Cb handle is out also wit the cellular
Where are you from Patrick
I do to tell swift and Knight and prime to get the hell out of the way
When we had radios, we were playing something like battleships over it with my cousin, or switched trucks on the red lights
@storm tangle where u from
Where's that at I am from the US
Netherlands, Amsterdam๐ ๐
Roll eyes
Drug city๐
Talk to y'all later I have to load tell u my weight in a bit I am like the 5th truck in line and there are 2 loading shouts
Heh
Have a good day๐
Or evening, whatever it is
๐
I will try to load and warm up that left lane it's 10:32am
Well I just weighed and I am grossing 130000pounds
That's 50000pounds over the weight limit
How is this possible? In a cattle truck? Wtf 50,000lbs is a lot.
50,000 is nothing
I mean, to be over with
To be over weight by 50,000lbs is a lot
To be 50,000lbs gross is nothing yes. But that's stupid to be 50,000lbs over weight.
Like imagine doing that in the eu
I have 8 axels total 4 on the truck and 4 on the trailer
But the other thing is all I haul is fats going from the feedlot to the killing plant. And just got to know how to load it right
@paper bear
Oh that's pretty
Well, all I was thinking was. You should be able to tell if you've over loaded your truck by 20tons
You can tell if a truck is overloaded easily with experience
Pretty easy to tell if you're pulling the trailer or the trailer is pulling you lol
Especially up a hill.
I'm talking, just by looking at the load. You should be able to tell.
And just looking at the trailer,
Before you even get into the thing you should be able to tell you're over loaded. So 22 tons over is incredibly over.
For a truck with a 45ton gross
I mean, I was never a skateboard driver so I probably lack that experience. However when loading the refer or box trailers, I'd say you knew where to put the weight and load and pallets and how to make it fit right. Though pulling them budweiser loads they didn't give a lick.
It was always at or above 33k in the trailer.
Period.
But anything else you can move around and whatnot, yeah.
But in the trailers over here in the US you can slide the tandems on them, I ain't sure if you can do that in the EU.
How long have you been hauling with those trailers Carson? Just out of curiosity
i went home unloaded the cattle into are pins and picked up the peter and loaded the cattle back u
@paper bear You got tandems in the EU or are you an EU driver?
Or european
Can you slide the tandems on your trailer back and forth
@paper bear i have been pulling those for 6six years now
Slide the tandems?
My father is real life trucker, He go from Ghent, Belgium to mostly to Frankfurt am Maim...
The axles? We don't have slideble axles here. Or atleast I haven't seen them
You know, pull the pin on the tandems and slide the tandems to adjust the weight
And I drive in the uk
i am what to call a left lane truck driver
Sliding Trailer Tandems and Scale Tickets Explained -~--~-~~-~- Please watch: "Slick White and Blue Peterbilt" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InXS_DWgC5...
Just for educational purposes
We don't really need to slide axles. As it doesn't affect our max permitted weight. But in us, gross weight is based upon like wheelbase or something ridiculous?
Nah, it's based on how much weight is on your drive axles and trailer axles
You can't be over a certain amount to protect the roads.
@vapid harness should i stretch out the pete some more
@harsh tapir Hammer down, driver
In the US it's 33k on tandems, 33k on drive, 12k on steering
All that in Pounds
Some trucks can be at 14k on steering due to APU rules, allowing a 500 pound or 700 pound APU to be placed on the truck so you don't idle the engine
Or...well...13k
What's the weight on your steering, Carson?
Typical?
@paper bear what are the weights for your trucks over there?
Laws and such?
I ain't familiar with it, unfortunately.
Max gross of 96,000lbs, any higher you need to pay more tax,
Jesus
@vapid harness my steer is 22k my puller is 14k my drives is 33k my trailer axels altogether i can have 40k
We have a unit plated for 330,000lbs but since we haven't got it taxed for that we can't pull it
@vapid harness that pete has a speical permit that lets me almost 200,000 pounds grossing pounds thats y got am driving this truck
Our Department of Transportation operates scales on the interstate, and there are civilian scales we use which I referenced where we can properly adjust and scale our truck and load. If we fail to do that, we can go across a scale and without special permits and whatnot we are fined.
Haha, and vehicles with axle weights over like... 35,000 are also higher taxed too. I think haven't looked at it in a while. So not 100% on that bit.
Yeah.
Also I'll correct myself, the gentlemen I referenced in the video said 34k drives 34k tandems, and he is correct in some states in the United States.
We have a license we call a CDL, Commerical Drivers License, and various classes (A-B-C-D, I have A). There's also Non-Excepted Interstate and Excepted Interstate, which is classified according to our medical licenses.
I am Non-Excepted, which means I can drive in all states.
Excepted restricts the CDL holder to that state.
I think I'm right....yeah.
since i haul cattle, grain, and sometimes fuel i have to have A B C D and i cant drive a auto because i got my license on a manual
Now for us, the classes are thus. A means I can operate manual transmission, tandem-axle vehicles. Tractor-Trailers basically. Anything that hauls a trailer commercially I can drive it. B is straight-axle, and does not permit operation of manual transmission vehicles (I think that's right Carson, right?)
I forgot what C and D are
You can drive auto
A permits both Auto and Manual.
A means you can drive anything if your um
.....hold on lemme get my license
right
Endorsements
Right now I'm only endorsed in Tankers, but I don't have endorsements with hazardous materials. Which means I can haul any type of trailer (Skateboard/Refer/Box/Tanker) SO LONG as I am NOT hauling hazardous materials, and with Tanker I can only haul FOOD GRADE materials.
Now for PUP trailers, so long as they're single PUP's I'm okay, but doubles or triples I need an endorsement
Wait, is it different in your state @harsh tapir?
What state you in?
(And obviously I don't need endorsements to haul Skateboard/Refer/Box trailers, just fyi. The tanker endorsement is so I can haul non-hazard food-grade tanker trailers.
But yeah @paper bear that's the bull we deal with over here
I'd happily trade that for just taxes, jeeze
What type of license you have to get there?
@vapid harness every state is a little different
I mean, its just taxes for weights. As long as your vehicle is also speced to pull it.
If you.pass your car test on an auto you can't drive a truck with a manual.
You can't pull hazardous stuff without the correct ADR certificate.
@harsh tapir Yeah, I know, just surprised your state did it that way. Makes no sense.
@paper bear That's a lot more simpler than here
Hey bambi, I always wondered
Where do you ya'll sleep in them trucks?
Haha, we have a bed behind the seats :D we have a different body shape than you Americans though ;)
But really, I find them comfy. And cosy. Just something about it. Its really nice IMO. We have some scanias where the bed can also slide forward a bit. Giving you a bit more room
I don't blame ya.
How tall and big are ya?
I'm about 5'11" and around 240lbs
You can use your own measurements I'll just use google to translate, didn't mean to inconvience.
But you guys, omg. The size of your cabs. You could live in there for months man. And I'm about.. 6' and 170lbs
Oh wow. Actually, I did for two years. I worked for one company and I literally lived in a truck for six months.
Some of these drivers here do year around. Sell their homes, live with families.
They literally live out of their trucks.
But that six months was after my three month training (which isn't given anymore apparently, I got lucky).
Owner Op taught me how to shift, downshift, back, et cetera.
And after that I decided to stick on the road for a while to get my bank account settled.
And it was fair.
Also at the end of the year our IRS pays us drivers for days on the road. Like, if your company doesn't pay you per diem, which means they're paying you for being on the road away from home basically, you're entitled here to file your taxes and the amount of unpaid days on the road and get paid back for it.
I think one year just because of that I got an extra 2k in returns.
Nice
(also per diem is a choice)
Yeah.
Last company I was with I chose per diem and I got an extra...
I made 44 cents per mile
Per diem was ... dang I don't remember
Somewhere into that account
And I got reinbursed for paying for on the job expenses
Boots, clothing, anything to do with the truck like load locks, et cetera.
Oh the company I'm with are amazing. They supply everything. If you want any extra accessories on your truck though, you pay for them.
But working lights are all supllied
Oh, nice. What's it like driving over there? You recommend any videos?
talk to u boys later i got some left lane driven to do
Just light bars
Hah!
Light bars. We call them chicken coups, cause they're flashy and they attract DOT's.
See trucks over here so full of lights that DOT knows you got money
Dot?
Department of Transportation
Sorry xD
Well around here its the opposite really. They see you've got all your lights working. Nice truck, all clean. They see you take care of your truck.
And are less likely to get pulled than if you were driving an old rough, real dirty truck
no wonder y they are always pulling me over i have a total of 900 chicken lights between my truck and trailer well @vapid harness and @paper bear talk to yall later i have so left lane driven to do
Be safe there
you too
Cya
@paper bear It's lke that here in some states. Some states DOT will see a dirty, working truck and not mess with you, but a clean truck gets pulled in. I had a convo with a nice scale-master and they said they look for them trucks that look dirty, and another guy said he follows the book to see if any of them are too clean.
It really depends.
Well I think our company had a decent rep around here. We've got a fairly new fleet.
We them dvsa
Or vosa
Yeah that picture you showed has some nice looking trucks.
What? What pic?
Oh that was baconator
That wasn't me I don't think. The one with the scanias and Volvo?
Haha NP.
But nah, vosa kinda have reps on companies. And I think we are decent. Really is nice to just do things by the book sometimes.
Yeah I agree.
It was for me anyway.
We had a dispute about our 34 hour rule sometime ago, I rode when the 34 hour rule was temporarily halted and we reverted to an older 34 hour rule where you could take 34 hours to reclaim your full 70. That was nice. Parking somewhere nice, sightseeing.
Over here we can only drive 70 hours, least when I drove (off the road atm). We had....14 hours on duty, 11 hours driving, and we were required to take 10 hours in sleeper to reclaim it (or do an 8 hour sleep, then take a 2 hour break).
What's ya'lls logging like?
How you keep track? Paper logs, no logs?
Well... I don't keep many logs. Just keep track of the week ad it goes by. We can only drive 4.5hrs before having to take a 45min break. We can then drive another 4.5hrs
Twice a week we can drive 1 hour extra but this requires another 45min break to do this.
We can drive....if I remember...
8 hours before being required to take a 30 minute OFF DUTY break
Or was it five hours
I think 8 yeah
Wow haha
Shit man when my logs quit I drove for 11 hours straight once.
The following table summarizes the HOS regulations for property-carrying and passenger-carrying drivers.
I was right 8 hours
Then you get the extra 2 hours after the 30. What I did was like drive 5 hours, take a thirty, then get back the 2. Cause no matter what you did you can only drive...
11 hours
Lemme look at the damn site
10-Hour Driving Limit
May drive a maximum of 10 hours after 8 consecutive hours off duty.
okay
It's been a minute
I'm sorry
xD
I had an accident last year at a port I was loading at, load lock fell and busted my head. I have two discs in my neck that are slightly buldging so last I drove a truck was 7/12/17.
Load lock? Like twist locks on a container?
Mine was the 44 pound one
It fell from ten feet up.
I was between my cab and the refer unit, on the catwalk there and I fell back and the loadlock fell that I was trying to grab. I hit the pavement and the load lock hit the back of my head.
Ouch
Lil bit, I had some recovery to do.
If you wanted some holiday, I'm sure you could've just asked ๐ you didn't need to get yourself into hospital ;)
HAH
Come on man, had to get a break somehow, working myself to death ๐ J/k
I loved that company man, but
I don't know
It's help me reevaulate my life, get back in touch with family
So maybe it was a good thing
Yeah, there's always an upside :) anyways. I'm gonna go get some sleep. Cya around
Hey did I ever mention I hate swift
Sure Wish I Finished Training
I just had one cut me off and I was in the left lane doing 80 and someone that can only go 65 decided it would be a good idea to cut me off
C.R. Every New Guy Leaves Aafter Ninety Days
ppft
Fucking swift
Some of the drivers are okay. I know I delivered to one of them General Mills warehouses and I met a few in the waiting lot
Talked about pay, surprisingly close to what I made.
Just couldn't idle trucks like I could.
lol
I gave him a ear full too and he asked if I wanted to fight and I said let's go then he seen what I looked like and changed his mind real quick he started apologizing and everything it was funnh
Crash Roll Stunt Team
Hah
I remember my first time wanting to fight. Guy pulled up beside me, asked if I was okay. I said yeah, we parted ways
Over some four-wheeler that decided to be a punk.
Please Remember I'm Missouri Educated
A couple of weeks ago I had a dude that had his sunroof open and I dip do u see where this is going and he decided to cut me off and slammed on the breaks so when I got up beside him he still had his sunroof open so I took my spit cup and throw it and it went through his sunroof and all of the dip and dipspit went all over his lap
We Employ Rookies, No Experience Required
Woops
Hahahahaha!
Man I remember, oh boy
I can't say what I did because people gonna think bad of me
DM me
I think I only did that once lol
@vapid harness good night I burned up the left lane so much that I am tried
Night carson, rest well. Kinda laye, I fell asleep here.
Beautiful, @serene mason
Unloaded time to head home for a day
Thanks @vapid harness I do try to keep her clean
She looks better on photos though I must admit
@vapid harness looks like I am not going home I get to go load in Montana I have to be there in the morning by 6am
Yea
Jack daniels?
Yeah
oh nice truck ... more like a mobile house at this point .
@thick cedar SEXY
@harsh tapir Sorry I didn't reply, was at work. Drive safe, brother.
@vapid harness goodnight brother I still have alot of left lane driven to do so be safe out there driver
@tall sorrel @vapid harness lol not mine. My neighbors!
Yes
@vapid harness i am already missing my girl
aw
my dads driving it and he said on his way back home when he pasted my house he rolled the miles to 100k
but i like this one more
One you shared yesterday yeah
have u ever looked back at an old truck u used to dive and said many i miss that truck
I do, let me find my photoes
dam, on my old phone
Gimmie a second
lemme find the darn thing
I'll upload them
Have an old Kyocera I used
trying to boot it now
looks good, think my old phone doesn't have any. I found one I took at a truck stop
@vapid harness can you look at something for me?
There's one, old one, lemme find another
@thick cedar yeah
That's all I had
I had a crapload more
But my phone must of bugged out
I got a photo of me after the accident in a hospital bed lol
If you want to see that hahaha
@thick cedar Is that your extended sleeper?
lmao
Im wondering if you get CDL license, what truck will you most likely recieve?
probs a cascadia
I like peterbuilt more than kenworht
Anything other than american trucks are cool
I only like American trucks.
I like both, each suit their climates/regions
American trucks are so big but so are their roads so itโs doable
With Europe we still have roads that are hundreds of years old and not suitable for anything bigger than a sprinter van
Euoropean trucks are more practical, but only because they need to be.
Lol
If you buy a hammer as a carpenter, should be practical or looking with full of chrome? ๐ ๐
Not only for usa trucks btw. Also for ppl with a custom interior and 20 lights on it๐
Indeed......
Wdym
He is joking. Or do you use fluids for ur blinker? ๐
Shame they don't make cabovers for the U.S. anymore. Also a shame that Scania couldn't make it in the U.S.
yep
Would be fairly unfair for US manufacturers

oh man I could watch those videos all day
Problem is, if you stop, they attack you, your truck or load bc those simple minded ppl, think they can do everything to, oppres their opinion.

they call for hgvs to be banned
and i think one of the comments somes sit up beautifully
When a cyclist "takes the lane" and is driving 20-30km below the speed limit the drivers stuck behind the cyclist are supposed to be patient, yet whenever a cyclist is slowed down in any way they are not patient at all. You always see them weave between cars and make dangerous maneuvers, and of course if an accident occurs they blame the motorist. Maybe bikes should be banned instead if it isn't safe.
or do something, like a test to ride them in cities
Lol thats nit a solution
they are a road user, the only road user that doesnt need to do any test to use the road
Yeah but do you know how damn impossible it would to enforce it
Or how much it would cost
yeah, it would be difficult, but if it actually worked, it would make the roads a safer place
How many here is/will be real trucker
DrDog
Potter

Well I am burning up that left lane and the big trucks are getting it done in Iowa
Damn it is growing in here
Yea man I love the left lane but I hate the drivers that can only go 65
I have came up the the motto I am putting on the back of my truck it's going to say left lane junkie
Must have one hell of an overdrive and a rear end there driver
4 speed mainbox with 2 separate rangeboxes and splittee, along with 0.722 speed overdrive and a 2-speed rear
Oh, damn. Nice haircut Jolli
Thanks, my friend truly shoved his artistic skills
your friend? Wha- Oh, thats a... is that a drawing? oh my bad
@serene mason I have a Eaton fuller 18speed with a retarder and I am run a cat signature 600 chipped to 750hp
@serene mason this is how us iowa boys get it done
i am thinking about putting a twin turbo on it and a new chip and get 1350

@queen brook
Aint a usa truck fan but looks pretty, that green one looks freakin great and mean
It's a custom paint it was on the pricey side
I can believe it, painting aint cheap. But looks pretty sweet
Thanks
Me and my dad traded trucks he got the big Pete and I got the lime green cuz he as to haul a load of fats and when we haul fats we have a grossing weight of 120,000 pounds and that truck is legal to haul that much weight

Someone ever saw trucks like this
I saw the little brother of it ๐
Fuso?
It's a popular brand in turkey but rather the lorry version.
npr, nkr, tora
for an instance
https://i0.shbdn.com/photos/66/24/08/x5_548662408t3n.jpg

What the...
Eww
To be honest, thats the kind of things you see in turkey considering how ugly most of turkish player trucks are
Hey guys check out my truck irl!!!! ๐
this is my dads truck ;)
Nice, did he buy it off of Ultimate Trucks .com
^^
Busted lmaooooo
I love it
Honestly we donโt care if you donโt drive, just donโt come in pretending
Possibly
Knighrider ๐
๐
Shhhh @queen brook they might find us out man
I rlly do wonder how much it costs to customize a truck
Much..
this was about 10k euro, dashbaord paint we did ourselfs, and he cabinets aboe also, otherwise it would be about 13k
That is a sexy interior and
Blue or porn lights?
niiiice ๐
Blue ones. Truck of my best mate. Interior was 10k. Open exhaust was 3200โฌ. A little bit exterior about 500โฌ. Way to much imho.
500e for exterior? I have 2000e on lights alone
hehe after spending this money, he had a little bit of an angry gf ๐
the exhaust system on the back of a scania topline, cost ยฃ7k
stacks
but with a valve which turns them on and off
i could build one for hundreds lol
quality ๐
the interior? aint google my friend ๐
ooof @queen brook
Face reveal
wait 2m
๐
J.M.Bell and son getting stuck on his way off the show ground
midlift
no grip
wet ground
like driving on a garden
well, not as bad
Diverter valves tho ๐๐ป
Iโd bang one on mine cause you can get away with putting a little bit of the flow through the system to keep the sensors happy
But 3k is excessive
thats the way ours works, it sends it all through the pipes for a few minutes, then it switches back after the ad blue sensors kick in
It isnโt a truckmax system is it
And you can get ones that run maybe 20% of the flow through the cat all the time
If we had a tig welder at work Iโd definitely fab my own pipe
And I already have a stack on mine so itโs an easy enough pipe to fab
Opinions on the tesla truck?
personally, i prefer the looks and sounds of a diesel motor
but i guess some companys are looking into getting some
they just have to wait 4 hours for a charge ๐
I think Tesla's are the most inefficient for semi trucks, compared to cars that don't need the battery's to haul 5 tons of bricks, if there was a magical world where we could store so much energy in a small battery I would've already bought it.
Tesla truck has too many flaws to be useful
That hybrid drivetrain is somewhat sensible
Sisu Polar hybrid is a nice joke
I don't know why they got rid of Cummins and Catepillar
You can only get Polar with Detroit Diesel or Mercedes or Sisu Diesel nowadays
Detroit Diesel.. Now thats a joke
the polar hybrid is what i see is the perfect answer as opposed to take volvo's step with putting a stupidly short crawler gear
as for why Cummis or Catepillar not available.. Catepilalr fell out of favour long time ago, because it was just ancient and inefficient.. the cummins didnt meet any new euro emission requirements
Sisu. Oh the great finnish quality
Sisu. No Siwho
base model?
Possibly
I was wondering myself why it has got old lamps
I don't like the handling of it
It's uncomfortable
Father's old job 2013 fh last pics were it at a show then it was sold a day later and now the company are no more sadly
A satellite navigation system was blamed for causing a 40-tonne articulated lorry to get stuck in a narrow South East Cornwall lane.
what a nightmare
I think he was stuck
Yep
Why canโt the DAF sound like that ingame
Cute little volvo
Dutch Volvo๐ always a ๐
Couldve been finnish volvo, just heavier axles and more lenght for fullsized cable containers
Indeed. Now you say it. I only watched the license plate๐
I've just realised @rustic bolt is just me, but much nicer, and cares about being banned
Not really care, as the servers are unplayable because of unknown ping problems
And oh boy, im not nice, but only here because everybody takes it personally if i start to speak what my mind comes up with, before i rephrase and think it
I mean, i almost got banned from here in first 20 minutes as i opened my mouth wjen i joined rhe discord
Damn. Why tho. If i have problem i talk with him/her, if you cant understand eachother after that can happen. No big deal imho
Penguin... I do t know is he even staff anymore
Damn triggerhapppy he was
Just because i was swearing lightly
Didnt even insult anyone
Ah, to hell with them
Ill go to sleep
Good night drdog
Aye night bro
the nicest fh imho, my dad drove that type when it just came out and with the first gen facelift h had it new, ( with the white blinkers )
Now thats a real and driveable volvo, has true power streering and not the flimsy numb shit that the new ones
Still need to downgrade all the way down to F10
Nice pic๐
I love it noxii.
Very nice picture, if only cameras could do better in low light
holy shit, i forgot how ugly trucks can be without visors
or without spoilers
yeah, really does change the truck
Night shift
i feel bad for him
I worked for DB Schenker for 7 weeks
So, anyone from Europe, can you tell me what your lingos are for your trucking companies? Like over here, we have companies such as PRIME (Please Remember I'm Missouri Educated). Just fun jibes. What are some for your areas? What is the reputation behind them?
i cant think of any other than Girteka, they are always in the ditch.. and their CEO dares to say that their drivers are best the europe has
Hey! Saludos desde Argentina!
I can only think of Karjaluoto
Waberer has a reputation, same as Koine, girteka, primafiro(?) Not the best ones, but also a lot from our country itself have a bad name. Like europe flyer/hovotrans(hcn). But that are more the bosses with a bad rep bc of 20times bankrupty and leave debts and get start again.
I have burning hate and disgust for girteka especially.. But i dont really expect anything good from most eastern companies in north, most cases they come with 4x2s and no chains or snow tyres here.. And eventually slide into a forest or get stuck everywhere
And usually the driver has no idea what to so in snow
I heard dutch drivers got the same reputation as them up north, dont know if thats right?
Not really
Dutchies respect the weather, poles and other long plates just goes with the "I dont care, i'm just driving" and simply doesnt understand the concept of snow, or ice.. and how it changes the behaviour of a truck.. Besides, What i seen and heard from the guys driving in norway.. Dutch drivers tend to prepare themselves properly with enough chains and proper tyres.. atleast those who regularily drive north
only dutch i see here are mostly flower rockets though
Ah ok. Somewhere i read/ heard they had the same reputation. But thanks for clearing it.
How come Americans always have stupid acronyms for their companies
I just call the big companies like Eddie Stobarts super truckers
Or steering wheel attendants
that sounds much more appropariate
So my fuel pumps gone
On my car
Been driving works sprinter flatbed all week instead of my car
change it
Iโve had late finishes all week so I havenโt been able to get it done
I was gonna get it done last night but my boss tried rolling one of the forklifts over driving it onto the low loader
The retard tried loading it on a cambered road when it was raining so it just slid off the ramp and beached itself
lol
that's really clean
not that far from my work either ๐
we need this type of trucks on ets2 ๐ฆ
rigids exist
I think he means the fm series
ah
Rather see the 70/80 or 90s truck in it๐
Yup.
ik bedoel die vaste wagens
Those are in it ๐ just on mods
Nah ppl cant drive a trailer straight. Lets see this and hangar on it on mp is gonna be worse. ๐
xd
I want to see that cf in ets
@sweet aspen ฤฐf you make hybrid with Man TGX daf xf, It looks like the MAN TGA
So a van drives past me with โG. Roper Servicesโ on the side
Sounds like someoneโs parents had a funny idea for their kids name ๐
And Iโm parked up near a transit van thatโs a semi
Wow
lol
me neither
i bet you that will be fun in the wind
Yeah.. considering you cant load anything on them
that weight support is like only ton or two, at best when shared equally on the axles
Meanwhile in the Netherlands...
Retro truck in Wezep, right?
Nope, trucktour Tilburg
Full off ride video, featuring the very latest LED lighting and strobe effects, resprayed cars and new powerful sound system in stereo.
What the hell is this?
Dis gust tang
LOL
Not much room anyways
Or tge fact CF is small courier cab
They finally trust you to take the big rigs out :D
Its missing axles
I call bullshit
nice just found pic's of their old torpedo
@storm tangle yeah we had a few but had to sell them because they didnt want to get shorter trailers
I know haha. I had the day off and found my old external hdd with those old pics. Believe i have one at the a4 at the big parking from Shell with the old one of roel back then while he was still updating his truck
I dont know Roel, i havent worked for this company that long
Ah ok haha. Thats about 12y ago i think.
Especially all the shots outside on parking lot
@dense kraken How long you been trucking?
Mmm. Good luck.
Cute trailers lmao
this just reminded me of an idea, double caravans
Donโt give them ideas...
cute trailers? wdy mean?
So small.. And looks so funny
the smaller the trailer, the tighter the spot ๐
but, the smaller the trailer, usually it ends up going into tighter situations. thats why its smaller...
Or maybe because of stupid EU limits
nope, not all trailers are the same size, even if theyre in the same country ๐
What size of tank does it have?
600l
And thatโs just a box on the drivers side, I put all my straps slings shackles and stuff in it
I might make another one thatโs a bit wider though, it gets a bit messy
Need them for kangeroos
Now that is a truck
A roo bar, b-triple by the looks
Wish ETS had trailers like that
Mods..
Yeah, i just wish for longer trailers than that
It looks ugly, but it has actual reason and needs to plough kangaroos off that get in way
all the trucks I have in ets don't have bullbars, I like the cleaner look
Yup, just none with stock bullbars, they are so wierd
Yeah big blocky bullbars donโt really suit the eu cabs
Well maybe the iveco is an exception, it needs all the help it can get ๐
Wtf is that thing
a forklift
Multi axis grinder, about 16 ton

But the base is shaped like a T so itโs a delicate lift
you really like collecting roles do you?
haha, this is brilliant. not really a truck but... https://youtu.be/HIhfwjWuj-I?t=661
Skip to 11:00 for the action! Well, it had to be done. I wouldn't be Tony if I did it the usual way! 45mph wasn't enough so I fitted an MXUS 3K Turbo V3 moto...
Imagine being the person that has to look at the speed camera footage after it not recognising a reg plate
Youโd be in creases
I cant but think to wonder what the guy looking at one of my speed camera pictures would be thinking.. At the point of taking the picture, i was picking my nose, smoking a cigarette and playing with the refrigerator controls, while drinking coffee
I love seeing mobile speed cameras
