yeah?
Thats pretty low actually
I am fast enough in my work that i have time to stop by to eat unhealthily
new guys usally spend couple months only on some quick microwave meals because they have no time to stop to eat properly
you dont pull several hundred kg carts or 500kg pallets on snow every winter
well meat loads i do with forklift
and depending on potato place, on forklift or atleast lift with forklift to the truck and then with pumps to its place
When i drove the hiab,
It was
painfull
To load
it
The guy was so fast
He was just brining the planks and stuff
and i had to put liftstraps
On every damn thing
Actually, mud or whatever tha bagged earth is, is best one
theres guys bringing you 2 FIN pallets at time with wheel loader
I couldn't work without having a huge meal at lunch. I would faint
you got to be fast or suddenly you are boxed in with like 6 pallets in line
theres a good old fashioned truck stop that has good and filling food for cheap
naturally i stop by there all times
french fries, couple sausage chopped in, kebab, a hamburger patty thing, some jalopenos and thats it
delicious and unhealthy
oh and a egg
and unlimited coffee
nooo
i always take a big take away mug of coffee from there when i leave
nice
lot of work on a small deadline, never easy
we were 2 weeks behind on this job. rubbish plans, people in our way, awful client
Just bought 4 Next Generation Scanias
Where are you based?
@thick cedar
I see those round east lancs up and down the m65
nice, shame about the nostril lights though
They remind me of trucks that run out of the JCB plant near stoke
Yellow is a very bold colour
Yellow come orange
@serene mason Based in Bacup, Lancashire,
I thought so, I'm over in Darwen fella โ๏ธ
Darwin
to be honest the yellow and black actually suits it. never thought I'd say that,
maybe i would've flipped the colors around
They pull black trailers too so it kind of goes well
I would have gone for a different font for the sign writing though, a little bit bland
minimalist I guess.
although it's a bright yellow truck so it's not exactly discrete
That isn't bright yellow
Though looking at the house behind.. seems quite big company
I suppose not. it's nearly orange
those midlifts always make me laugh
because it doesnt have to
65% of the vehicle must be on double wheels
and equipped with air suspension or air/iron combination
Oh yeah the 65 thing
saves tyre wear and that would be awful rocksled to drive if it were double tyre
the horrible tyre resistance
Friend sent me a nice pic
How does 25 tonnes go through this?
@rustic bolt whatcha think
25 tons over 2 bogies?
or 25 tones spread over truck + trailer?
(ie. stake truck)
that's pushing it on that thing yeah
I think he just needs to leave the stuff at the side of the road
And customer can pick them up
Well yeah, i wouldnt recommend tho
Its a 4 axle MAN, maybe the weight would balance tho
Or it will yeah but
I dont know is it enough
2 front and 1 bogey with 2?
1 in front and and 2 at back
uhm, that's 3 axles? ๐
Well 2 lifting at the back
k
I'd call that risky myself
Basically same like this
yeah, bogey with 3
if the bridge has bracing underneath as well maybe
Get some speed maybe it will go over by luck
Umm it does have but its wooden bracing
if it's like the top bracing, and bolted, it should be able to handle quite a bit of load
It usually can handle more than it says
But 25 tonnes, who knows
Maybe i should go with my casette to try 1st
68 tonnes
Easily would go over
the biggest risk with bridges that are relatively short like that is point loads, and since it's a tripple bogey, as long as they are down, you have a good distribution of the load on the bridge
The axle lenght is so small
It should be bigger
Longer i mean
Then it would balance it better
Wheelbase longer
if it's similar to that truck, the bogey seems to be about as long as the bridge, +/- a meter or two
near the anchor points, the bridge is incredibly strong, so the worry is when the load is on the middle, and that's when point loads are the worst, but it also of course depends on the age and maintenance on the wood
but I agree, a longer wheelbase, and ideally 1 axle further towards the front would make it more ideal for traversing such a bridge
Yeah, i forgot i still need to pull my trailer on
Theres a funny 20 ton bridge before a certain tomato plantation, the bridge is about half metres long, and it has weight limit of 20t
No matter how hard you try, only single axle will ever touch it at once
just foot down, close your eyes and pray.
it'll work once at least
#Frenchtrucking
so did the cruisecontrol shift in neutral etc to save fuel?
the drive aids the scania gives you no matter what
but the cruise control is brilliant in the scania, it maps the roads it goes and uploads it back to scania, similar to volvo, except i dont think you need to pay for that
also mine got several updates to the cruisecontrol, now it knows how to keep the speed withn limits when coming down the hills even..
no longer blasting down 105kmh in neutral down a hill
What a shame
tyres dont like it
yeah, for tyres that are rated for what, 120kph?
which are under VERY heavy pressure anyways already since the trailer wheels especially are 445mm supers
i dont think the rating is very high here
since the trucks shouldnt go over 80kmh anyways
Singles are usually J
Well yeah mine releases the gears even before we start rolling downhill
and mine puts gear back in to use some engine braking
when it comes down the hill, and near bottom it releases it again
And I would never like the cruise control you have then, I usually roll down the mountains at 120 to 130 ๐ฌ
Then after about a minute the tacho starts shouting at you
Once I was at 110 downhill on the motorway and I see this Irish scania rolling up on me, he comes past and I looked in awe just to see the driver smashing the enter button on his tacho
lol
I remember last time in workshop the mechanic connected his computer to the truck to try and find an error code to a fault I had but he found like loads of error codes with the same number and clicked on one to see what it said and there it was "speed limit exceeded" and I just laughed and said "oh yeah that's that mountain pass" he couldn't hold himself from laughing then ๐
Yeah the best fault code is lost signal from tacho
...
Hahaha yeah
Up to the driver if he wants to risk it
I remeber the F volvo with paper disc tacho, drive into a bump and the tacho unit takes a hit from it, suddenly speedo falls out of game and so does the tacho
One thing bout scania tho, I swear the ESP is trying to kill me in bends
Some old trucks if you turn the key back but not enough to click the speedo drops off and no limiter
Or in 3 series, just take the limiter + tacho fuse out
Its even labelled as speedlimiter
Yeah it has tipex on it also
And a whack to the speedo and most likely it disconnects entirely
Along with the tacho
What...
Lmao
Dang bot...
Well I was saying one more negative thing about scania is the bloody lane departure warning, you can cut lanes all over the place for hours but then all out of nowhere when miles from the sides it starts beeping like crazy
Scaring the crap out of ya
That thinks even snow is some line and it picks up the line from like 2m away
So it keeps buzzing all time
Isn't there a switch for it
Well scania gets the snow too
Yeah
What's snow?
You cam turn it off
And ye but then you get a warning light in the dash and I dislike that, I like it clean ๐
Ahhhhh
But the adaptive cruise control is awesome
Except when it quite doesn't notice some car turning off up ahead and that it's clear of the road when we reach it and it floors the brakes instead
Yeah exactly, that one really scares the crap out of you too sometimes or when you just drive normal without it on and you are in the same situation and the collision warning just goes "nope" and decides to take over ๐
Yup
For automatic, its really good
Me who disliked and didnt see point in automatics in trucks..
Scania has atleast made a working one
Yeah true and the new one is even better
I used to drive in Stockholm before and trust we had a bunch of volvos there and getting out with a manual 460 in that traffic sure took its time
Yup
I preferred the ishift we had since they're both good and faster than a human
Yup
And we used to have dual clutch ones here before our boss told Volvo to shove it and bought Scania's for us and that gear box was really nice
But also basically the only nice thing about Volvo
Well that and the electric sun shade
Why so?
So many issues with them
More like issues with volvo
I've not seen one in a while so idk whether they fixed it or not
We had issues with everything except the gearbox on ours
Some froze when it got below -20 and then the truck lost effect and try dragging a 50 ton heavy truck up a mountain pass in the winter with just 200hp
Ah yeah ours used to be called "hybrid trucks" at the company we drive for since we could never start them after a 9h rest with only running the heater, so we had to plug them in and charge then each day ๐
It makes me ashamed cause I know they should be better than that
Yeah me too, but yeah hour scania trucks we run for 20+ hours with the heater on, watching tv for hours and having lights on etc and they start instantly without any issues
Nah, that one I just drove extra in my week off
๐๐
What's your obsession with removing the mudguards though
Or do you guys like to rip them off
Too high so scratching on the trailer
Nah they got round and flat, round are original while flat are extra option
Do the tag axles do that stupid thing where the air suspension goes up quite a bit with the axle up
We have a midlift that turns into a dragster with the axle up
Yeah it goes up a little bit when I lift the rear axle yeah
Also we have a name for tag axles here
Nodding donkies
If you can guess why
Anyway I need to sleep
Goodnight sir
Hahaha well I get why, but try driving with a pusher in Norway at winter and you'll get stuck in the first hill you reach ๐ Goodnight
Unlucky
Wasnt me atleast
If that would ever happen to me, id quit
Apparently he accidentally opened the front lock instead of tailgate
Oops
@rustic bolt why is your 725 so ugly ๐ฎ
No sunvisor
i know
๐คข
its the ugly child of the family.. after MAN
but MAN is more like S.P.E.C.I.A.L child
Mean and nasty
its not
๐ฎ
but keskoviikko
#mersumaanantai, #manmaanantain, #mersumannimakkaramaanantai?
Also it does have sunvisor
it just have those crappy china LEDs on it
What a jumbo ๐ฎ
no but it carries more
Wll yeah
it does carry more when you can load in 2 levels
Im pretty sure there was picture of the man
probably
whats going on and where are those even
that is G
Yup
They blew it up in monday atleast
thats when the sausagewagons appeared atleast
yeah
Thats ours!
It is #makkaramaanantai
i reversed that thing!
But it's volvo so
ah
Mmm
3 sausage mercs and the spare peak day white mercedes
That 16 mmm
16?
The volvo
But #sorasunnuntai sounds better ๐ฆ
lensflares even
Then theres their next gen scania
the volvo is 6x4 with axle weight shifting to either one
stupid facebook become so bloated that it requires you to have account
Yeah and the group is like
You need to request to join i think
i haven't used this thing so much
Ay you need a 750 to keep up with all the other 750s in the uk
guess diesel is below 1.0e/l in UK
since you can afford to drive and with uselessly powerful engines
that never run optimally
yeah
Or
well yeah with fuel contract, you basically have pre-paid for fuel as far as i know
or atleast theres somekind of estimated thing going on
its funny actually that you havent found the 715 at all
maybe because we are too old for facebook lol
or we cant be bothered to take pictures of them
How can you be too old for facebook
no but i dont feel like taking a picture of what i'm doing every 10 mins
That's understandable
seems like the younger guys are taking pictures of absolutely everything
i dont feel like im missing out if i dont use facebook
its just mindless banter there
I get what you mean
I take pictures of stuff that's interesting to me
Like truck and mechanic stuff
Yuh
stuff being on sliiiightly larger scale than here
I think, this belongs to the real-life-farming channel, but this channel doesnยดt exist
no need for million channels
this hits close enough
as long as they are your shots and somewhat on topic about real life machinery, sure
could rename the channel to "real-life-heavy-machinery", except I'm lazy
It's somewhere to escape all the wannabes
im a part timer so technically I'm not a wannabe
yeah
pretty much place for us who hold the right alphabets in our little plastic card
and the blue card too
not just the red
I have all 4
A,BECEDE.. same
no wait
A,BE,CE,D
I can drive a big truck with trailer but no bus with a trailer.. because logic
I'm a wannabe. and proud.
good
Gรฅรฅd
I could actually go up to the local farm/junkyard/garage and take pics of all the stuff there
Theres like 50+ old tractors
Old Volvo Valpen vehicles
My dads Scania
Probably some older trucks
It's trucking not tractors or something ๐ฎ
This is so disproportioned I want to cry.
dude wants 15k for it.
why would you need a topline on that.
That was not its original life
Probably had life as a real truck before made into a forestry machine transporter or something
Chheck finnish you goon
nah, that thing hasn't lifted anything heavier than a few forklifts. just look at that pathetic tag
is it me or does the scania longline look like that alien from indiana jones?
Yes
Looks like some sort of de rooy impersonator truck with the aftermarket sleeper pod on the roof
You deliver haybales with that probably
Dads truck ๐
yours?
yeah
Oo
that's clean, nice truck
just after it got washed
You got it washed and went into a field?? ._.
O
there was a party and there was no room for it at the shop
my car drives through a field twice a day. Doesn't mean I never clean it ๐
๐๐
@proud saddle is that supposed to be the new highline cab then?
@serene mason From what i know its just under the topline so yeh i'd say it is but if you put it next to an old topline its bigger so its quite funny lol.
I think it's taller because of the flat floor. I do like the s series though
Yeah possibly. Yeh me too there quite nice.
I used to think it looked like a daf and a reno t range mix but it's grown on me
Also I'm guessing it's a manual cause the 580 badge
Yeh I didn't like it at first but now I've been in one etc they're better.
Nah its auto they dont need more then 580 v8 thats one of the only V8's they have as all they need is really 480-500
Yeah 580 is more than enough
Yeh too true. Drive so nice though.
My dads got a 750 and it doesn't agree with my lead foot
Yeh aha.
My dads driven this for a chraity event as well @serene mason
My dads mate is friends with one of their transport planners so drives one of there trucks for a charity event
That is very nice
I'm hoping I'll get in a 540 FH or an S580 for my dad
yh
There will be arguments over the spec though
yh i see
He does bulk tankers so I would like a 4.1m tag axle so there's room for the blower equipment but he isn't a fan of them
How much does one of them new 580s cost though
We priced up a tag R490 a while back for a laugh and it was 119k
Not sure. As when my dads boss bought the truck he took it to a company called tranztech
So extra cost etc
I'd say like 150k maybe not totally sure probably a lot more baring in mind he was discountec etc
That's stroke inducing at that price god
Sisu would love lead foot ;)
Unless its catepillar engine
that
Man... it seems like all of our dispatchers had some sort of collective meltdown. We're doing so much uneccesary work it's ridiculous. Anyone know that feelling? ๐
I drive nights most of the time when i'm not staying out, so we get all the trips they had to finish in a hurry so they could go home... it's.... interesting
I prefer night time driving
Less idiot car drivers to dive across 3 lanes and back across to pass you .5km before their exit
that
Also summer time night driving is beautiful
because its same as driving in daytime but no cars
and the views are beautiful in summer nights.. air is nice cool
I definately prefer nights too - less traffic, nice and quiet, phone doesn't ring 6 bazillion times, better pay. I'm very happy with it in general actually.
In the Swedish winter, all driving is night driving.
Yea
denied yeah
Why do all the finns in this discord drive scania or something
Dude we have this great thing called Sisu
who needs scania anyways
Everyone needs a Scania. They need to have the true truck experience...
Scania is just about always used in Sweden & places cos he
Ye*
And Volvos
More Finnish drivers, good
This company only has scanias
Speaking of Scanias...
I took that picture at the local farm/scrapyard
Probably like 50 Volvo BM tractors there
And 50 other tractors
But i like to work on this company
This IS close one too
I'll see if I can grab a picture of one of the trucks that goes to the quarry near me, mid-80s Scania in good shape
My dad drives a mid-80s Scania
yep yep
Yeah wheres @wanton ivy when we need him
Lol.
put that in google translate and you are mind blown
what the heck
Heck some Americans cant understand me when i talk
yeah and they should understand english
I realised Im not in the channel i thought it was
Oops.
fallen asleep?
looks like that or lack of concentration. there's a roundabout just behind us
looks like he slammed the anchors and swerved
quite neatly straight into a ditch in straight road
must've been going pretty slow too, there's only a few meters between where he went off the road and where he stopped. was loaded with concrete blocks too, so not easy to stop
yeah
didn't lose his load though. so he has that going for him
anyway. Just got internet back after 4 days without, anything new?
not really
Had a bad day?
A bid.
Got banned for insulting these stupid kids who ram my whole truck totalled.
Either have to wake up for real life trucking everyday at 4:00AM and never get in sleep.
Could have been worse.
that sucks mate
Guess what admins say when you apogolize for insulting the kids.
You'll stay banned, I hope you will learn from it.
I feel you bro, got banned for that multiple times already
I apogolize, he said I stay banned, means that the apogolize got rejected, means that I turn on my dynamic IP and tell them all to get c*ncer.
๐
However, have a good night.
you too
:/ good night
Dutchman#3729 has been warned.
lol
Like, the paintjob is nice but, as said, too many lights.
Especially if it's in Britain, where they do not know true darkness.
Laughs in Swedish
Lol
that Scania dosen't have too many lights, its dosen't have enough ๐ ๐
Did you know
The Renault Magnum has the best interior of all Renault trucks
Yet the exterior is the worst
LOL
I like the exterior, because itยดs unique
Is that a Renault Magnum with MACK on the front?
Also the exterior is really ugly
French people should not be allowed to design trucks
Yeah it says "MACK" for some reason
Well I like Premium. Magnum sucks, indeed. But Premium looks fine for me
THe Premium is just too generic and boring.
Just compare the Renault premium to the Iveco Hi-Way.
Renault is for people who can't afford a Scania.
But I did hear Renault makes the most comfortable trucks
You heard wrong
Comfort starts with the seats, and theyโre terrible
Itโs like sitting on some planks
Also the cab on the magnum is air suspended so if you get motion sickness then itโs gonna look like that movie โare we there yetโ
Everything about the renault magnum is awful.
Lol
cool im a virtual driver :l
truck driving is a bad job
its a dangerous job to espically where i live
French Circus ๐ Lots of Magnums ๐ https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=949997501825975&id=434758156683248&pnref=story
I think I lost my tacho card....
U can borrow mine
If I have to get a replacement Iโll be mad
But it will cover up some illegal, sorry completely legitimate movements
temporarily you can just take a printout and write on backside of the print that the card is lost
thats what i do
I donโt need it, I just canโt find the damn thing
Heya you have call France ! Iโm here xD
Longline is trash.
That second truck, whilst not that bad, Is definitely not the best looking truck
That tiger has a trailer painted to it, with it it looks decent, alone it looks very bad
Also i belive its the company's only semi truck, every other one is painted full combination
These are just glorified trucks
Take it to #photos
This channel is for real trucking, not whatever they are
My truck ๐
nice
You need to get some polish on that fuel tank driver
Durabrites with a dull tank
Letโs the look of the truck down a little
Nice looking machine though
@weary rivet Damn looks amazing
my brothers truck
I'm loving the Culina fleet.
by the looks of it, some safe materials since it has no ADR signs at front and no place for hazard flags on the side
Probably fat or something to make fuel
something liquid-like that is not dangerous
for the manufacturing of adblue
though, i think even urea is ADR stuff in a wayu
but toxic?
or something
it certainly doesnt smell or feel good
especially when you have like 20 IBC containers of it in a old trailer closed up, the smell is horrible and it tingles your eyes immediately you open the door
yesd
that
ยฏ_(ใ)_/ยฏ
i love how this has become a Guess the content
we'll never know untill vader tells us
I was with Vader when he took this picture, it is indeed piss
That reminds me of the stealth magnum
Off for a jolly with a tipper
Someone in sales took the company out drinking I guess
Repost?
Nice trucks
oops I did repost the wrong pic I meant to post this one @rustic bolt @dense kraken
nice pic
I live in America and I hate American trucks. ๐
What a primitive piece of garbage
design straight out of 1980s and engine technology from 1960s
Hey xD
and im sorry PD4357, i cant take you seriously at all, even more since you dont clearly drive at all yourself
fake v8
XDD!!!
very nice
i have never heard of fake V8
and if an ad says its reliable and has good performanc
Basically every ebay item
so
ur argument is invalid
Im sorry
And we do still have Cabovers in America They just arent as widely used and they arent made new for OTR trucking
if you look around there are places still using FLB's and Argosy's
but because we dont have length limits we use conventionals due to the factor they are more comfortable and much more efficient
What did I miss here
dunno, but the dude had a dodge caravan as his profile pic so he should be immediately ignored.
I thought it was something like an Aztec or something lmao
he changed it for a bright green evo, which i think makes it 100x more likely he's about 8 years old.
So basically you have your mums minivan as your profile picture. that's genuinely sad.
I'd also like some scientific evidence driving a truck is "bad for your health"
"you crash you most likely die". you really are an uneducated child. it amuses me.
there's a reason cars cause more truck crashes than the trucks themselves.
that's a pathetic arguement.
"they can't brake as much" I'm pretty sure most modern trucks could brake quicker than any 20+ year old rustbox car on the road. Mine included.
with a trailer.
I know the laws of physics thanks.
truck drivers are restricted on how many hours they can drive. Car drivers aren't.
yes. But it's a car that I paid for. not mummies MPV
then you definitely can't say a thing about my car when you drive an echo. the offical car of driving at 20mph on your way to bingo.
meh. 50mpg, Diesel is cheaper than petrol on my country. your argument is invalid.
I could care less about pollution.
probably
you're absolutely right.
any more pointless insults?
nah, did that this morning, I need something dodge caravan sized to fit up there.
that's nice. I'm british though.
mhm.
well, this has been fun, but I have a dodge caravan to stick up my gay backside.
oh yeah, forgot about the donkey thing
wat
it was fun
Currently designing a logo for a trucking company, it's still a WIP but thoughts?
dense american?
he keeps insulting he will be
just fyi your standard Gasoline/Petrol Engine actually pollutes more than a Diesel
actually yes
a petrol car produces CO which is quite deadly
a Diesel engine produces CO2 which plants use to produce oxegyn

Diesel produce alot of carbon black unless you use a filter. it's bad as well. if you use it. it's better then a diesel
also he isnt american he is arabic
i'm american, german and dutch

i was born in germany, american soil. but live in The Netherlands
@radiant solstice your being an instagator annoying people ๐ค shut it stop being mean to people
I just blocked him lol
Lol IDC if my profile is Minecraft I own my own mc server lol
ill just let our lovely admins deal with him
I'm not sure he knows about much tbh.
Do you do anything else but hate @radiant solstice
nope.
just a general question
it's my new hobby.
I think it's too late for that bud. you've pretty much killed any chance of a reputation on here.
please just leave @white socket
Lol @radiant solstice you know nothing about owning a server lol ๐ค fool
Insuluting! ban!
you're being such a nuisance
you're sat here arguing with multiple people on a truck simulator discord group. you really are a nerd/loser/troll.
^^^^^^^
@radiant solstice anyone with a brain can own a server let's just say if their wasn't a ban risk I would go ham on you boy
@jolly orbit i wouldn't be able to own a server, no experince with java XD that's why i was just a admin
im a superadmin on a minecraft server
can you children please stop talking about minecraft.
@proper owl that still takes some knolage @hollow zenith nice I was co owner on a server with over 5000players untill I started my own
i was a admin on a dutch server, we had to close it recently tho.
that sucks
it's sad to see. afther 5 years the player count declined and wa couldn't get it up for the past half year
and we ran out of money to keep it going. the staff team chipped in themself to keep it going and maybe save it
but sadly we couldn't
perhaps we should move this conversation to #general or possibly #307554769772347393
This channel has been tainted with arguments, random pictures of trucks and not actual real life trucking
If you ainโt been driving then keep your pics to yourself
Where you going @serene mason
It was from yesterday
Oh
Did deliveries to a few farms
to be fair most our conversations in here shoudn't be in here.

bloody hell, haven't been around the lake district in years
Itโs about an hour or so up the road from me
But the m6 is hellish to drive up, especially in the weather weโve been having
fair drive from where I'm from, and a good 1500 miles from where I am now lol
Anyone know of trucker Jay in the UK been addicted to his YouTube lol I like trucks hahahah ๐ ๐ ๐
not a fan tbh
he just started doing Class 1
its quite cool seeing what you go through across the pond
Yep @serene mason he has been every where lol yep has been near me in Nottingham quite a lot @hollow zenith you enjoy him to
yes
I always wondered why people bothered with class 2 jobs until I tried looking for a class 1 job
Everywhere wants at least a year of having your class 1
i think he was a suggestion from youtube when i was watching Allie Knight
Ye lol
Unless youโre lucky enough to find a company or agency willing to hire you
Even then the money is pretty bad
Youโre lucky to get more than 9 quid an hour, especially on general haulage
@serene mason he has had class one for a while and just decided to go full class 1 as he gets more as had it for a year
He also changed company that pays better lol I don't blame him I have a relative who has been driveing hgvs for 20years he does all sorts of hauling from car transporter to crazy wide/valuable load
@serene mason๐
one of these days ill get the money to pay off the fines i owe get my Standard DL and then go for my CDL
My dads been running trucks since forever
Tut tut noughty @hollow zenith
I grew up in his trucks so it only seemed right to get my license
Iโve been to most places in Central Europe
Just havenโt been up into Scandinavia in a truck or the eastern block
You will eventually as the Moto is happy truckin
i want to be a truck driver butt i am 17 ๐ญ
I love camping and when i go a camp i travel via hitchhiking. It is hard to hitchhike in Turkey but I'm wondering how is it in Europe?
I'm planning a travel to Europe next summer and i'm planning to travel Europe with hitchhiking

@dense kraken i know butt i dont want that because if i am done with school i go get my license
dont want to follow the education

actually it's not called Sierra anymore, don't remember what it is now
Oh you sliding in snow too?
Dont worry, you're not only one, i been stuck couple times this night in various docks and ramps
Infact, stuck currently in ramp because i couldnt run red light because heavy traffic on it
Oh
Besides, one cant call him a professional unless been to ditch atleast once
Its everyday especially in log driving and in anything you go off the asphalt road
Good thing we didn't get snow
I wouldn't be doing any transfer dump action
Last winter the trailer just went how it liked
Started sliding out when i was trying to put the box on
You don't know cus you don't drive one ๐
Ouch
When it gets cold outside my house, the road becomes ice and deliveries to shops nearby get diverted to roads that have been given grit. Because iโve had many truck crashes outside -_-
Thereโs a school and delivery routes on the school road yet thereโs no grit
But hope everything goes alright in the snowy weather
Almost like our Man's trailer, it sprouted suddenly one day trees out of it, like through the roof... Yeah that was end of that trailer, Was about time that trailer got killed
Well technically i m not in a ditch ๐ถ
^^
LOL
I wish UK got proper snow again
We in Germany domt even know what snow Looks Like anymore
the UK got some legit snow a few years ago, I remember having to go pick my mum up in her corsa in really bad snow while I was on holiday over there
twas in 2010
@rugged shuttle parts of German get poop tone of snow
no problem with snow anymore, Scania got new drive wheels and winter surface on the front axle
@jolly orbit i Life in Hamburg ๐
Gotta love rear steer trailers... not...
Going straight and the trailer is going into the other live lanes
Dude when i was working at karjaluoto as hiab operator
The other volvo did crab walk
because the rear steer axle broke
@serene mason lol some trucks have manual lock on the axle crab steer is funny ๐ฆ
Sweet where?
Enjoy
it was snowing couple nights ago herr aswell.
Far up in the north of norway Nemo
30km south of Bardufoss or so I'll guess, on E6 maybe
Hehe Tuxy knows his places xD
Yeah its far north in Norway and its actually right by Bardu Bygdetun
It's literally chaos here in the snow right now, god I'm glad I have my week off! xD
yay
Oooo niiiice
this is a double, 6x4 750 volvo as puller, lenght being 34... the guys got tired of slicing it in half while reversing to dock, so they reverse whole thing as one into dock and detach there
loose linkages or bushings
Did the dildo selector shake like it does in the 3 series?
yeah

i accidentally folded the shifter down when i was trying to switch to high range
that was embarassing
haha
clearly you havent driven an old Sisu
You dont know a slack shifter untill you driven an old fuller
Isnt E11 old enough ๐ฐ
no
When the cab swinged in SM just right.. it knocked the shifter linkage so that it nudged it out of the gear.. if the linkage was loose.. in M162 it was like a broomstick in a empty bucket
in M162, the gear pattern never corresponded to what was written on the tin, and each truck was bit unique in their own way
earliest models had a 2-speed rear which you manually had to enable from steering column
