Na, he was alone, i asked him for his superior, when he came, i showed the dashcam footage, he was reprimanded foe dangerous driving, cutting someone of, and pulling someone over without a legitimate reason, got a call from the superior 2 days later that he was suspended because it wasn't his first incident and the day afted my incident he cause a accident

Its 179 euro well spend for me
when my mom gave me her old car
i bought 3 of em
one for my and 1 for stepdad and moms car
just wanna save money for a trip before i throw one in my van i geuss
but i think they wont allow me because "privacy"
due to u cant record on some property
alltough ive never been on a secured enough that they tell me to put my phone away or anything so
i could just buy a new charger cable and dock
and swap my cam from car to van each time but eh
We had dashcams in the trucks as a test a few years ago
And as long as nothing happens, then the footage will be deleted after a short while, so no privacy problems
yeah
especially when u drive 10hours a day
unless its saved hard lock itll be gone by next day usually
Mine automaticly deletes it when the disk is full
same
Unless its manually saved
yea
Need to get a new one for the truck, currently swap my own one over from my car since the one in the truck broke

I never want to drive without it
tbf i dont blame ya
I probably have a bright pink unicorn with rainbow collored mane in my cab next week

Hold up, wait a minute, the VAN driver is actually asking for the mods to come in here and moderate, danger danger
at least he’s not talking about me anymore when he says VAN Driver
oh no
your still the van driver that will be trash talked
with your kolega campervan

Talk when you have a license to drive a truck vanboi

contract ends next month so
i hope its extended for truck so i can start within 2 months
lol
Not enough red
You sure?
Sometimes I wanna
at the Scania mechanics, my truck is in for service today and yesterday when I arrived at my last stop I smelt like a steel against steel smell which made me think that either a brake or wheel bearing on the trailer had gone kaput, noticed a bit of extra heat on the front axle on the trailer so informed Scania that I wanted them to check it out while they now had the whole set in today.
Spoke with the workshop now early and they said “Ah yeah we noticed a fender that was scraping against the tire” my dude, a plastic fender against a tire does not create that kind of smell and I’m quite aware it is as it’s not exactly new so told him that and told them to check again, the smell is steel against steel, not plastic
the same
i can also give the Mercedes workshops
i was there to exchange my worn tire, what came? some greenhorn forgot to tighten the bolts good

To be fair
Your meant to tighten em up after driving a bit either way
yeah, i still not awake
Me most of my workdays
Somewhere near france right now just like wednesday
Will be the swme tommorrow probably for ciney truckshow lol
nice, me with 3 hours sleep and 2 red bulls

My good old fh3 the last that we had got sold ,so the boss let me have one of the new fh5 for a couple of days until an FH4 is available. (Cause this one is already attributed to someone but they're in holidays, decorative plates are mine)
Man o man that time of the day that a polish van decides to cut of 3 lanes to make the exit and does not notice a giant mercedes
Glad no one was injured but man did he scare the life out of me
Lekker man
Do you have dashcam footage?
That sucks, glad everyone is fine
I dont have a dashcam sadly
Yup, it couldve ended way worse
This truck is terrible. I don't understand how people can live in this. I just took it to the service and back, and that was more than enough. It smelled like shit.
And i'm cleaning my truck everyday cause i can not stand a dirty truck
he noticed u for sure
he just tought he can make it
but seeing they all drive like 92 nah
xD
Well you can see how it ended lol
yeah
i geuss its the benefit he aimed for the exit
instead of just going infront of you
because hed be pushed sideways
instead of a lil trim piece being sacrificed
i did it earlier this week
because belgium is ass with signs etc
but i just made sure there was room wich there was
just some rude woman who saw me do it who sped up
and then honked when i no longer had as much room so she had to brake again 😂
Hmm Koleka kleine problem, after a load of asfalt, the trailer is old an worn out, so now it tips to one side, I'm done with that trailer😂
Time for a new one
Not really, the trailer is just some old crap that has not been serviced for a few years, and we borrowed it from another company, that claimed it was alright, and the service shop looked at it and said it need a lot of new parts for it to be ready
Time to bring it back to the company you got it from
I did, parked it right out the office, went in and told them why they gave me such old and worn out trailer that had not been checked, their awnser was, oh well they just bought it, they diddent know it was broken, cause they never check, they figured it would work or else the seller wouldn't sell it.....
Thats just a load of bs, you always should check if it work and is safe, and in doubt, get a mechanic to look at it
Yea, but it's a big company, so I parked it told them to give me another trailer or find someone else to do their shit
Understandable
I can say shit happens to a lot of things like if a driver breaks something on one of our trailers, but if it's because the person is being lazy I can get enoyed, if it's an accident well crap happens, but if people just lazy dont check things, that can get me fired up
I have the same
Thats why i put a sticker in cab on the holder for the boardcomputer/log that people need to pull the plug for the load lift out of the trailer when driving, most tend to keep it in, but then they break of the brackets on the truck, have fixed that multiple times in a few weeks time
that would cause a accident lol
i geuss if it wasnt asphalt it would probably tip over if your running dirt or something
and are on soft ground
because with dirt you usually just instantly dump alot all at once
easy to tip then lol
I don't know how I did not f it up and tip over, cause even the asfalt crew was like fuuuu u are lucky and the other drivers said the same, they don't know how it did not tip over
isnt it with asphalt u slowdump usually tho
or also instantly up
i geuss it helps you are usually on a layer of concrete / asphalt still so its a bit more stable perhaps so u didnt tip over
Well yes, you do tip it up to a a level of hight, and then it slowly runs out, but still a bit risky, also kinda had 40 tons of asfalt on 6 axles but again shit happens, and it was level all the way thru
yea
good u didnt flip
cuz your company wouldnt be happy
especially not the company the trailer is borrowed / rented from
who will have to buy your company a new truck + pay for lost income lol
Well if we could prove that the truck tipping was caused by the company not taking care of the trailer, we could take it to court and many the other company would end up paying cause it's their trailer that caused it, vuur who knows
i mean
if u flip
with tip trailers
its usually the trailer thats the cause
unless its really cold
and your sand is frozen or something so theres dead weight on top
but thats not the case with asphalt
Exactly, but yea, on the good side nothing happened and I'm not driving that trailer again
yea
u aint even drive that why u post here
nor does anyone even understand what is said
maybe he works at us by the look of the truck
I meant the driver from the video
i have no clue what your on about
the driver in the video, I said that he works for us because his truck is dirty like the ones who work here
Im surprised it aint deleted yet
nice
i came across a random freightliner i think it was today
i sometimes see a peterbilt on highway but this was in the middle of a residential zone
i love the us cabovers tbh
Nice
I can't believe this... I don't work with it for a day and this is how I get it back... 😂😂😂
Nice
Maybe someday if timing adds up we can take one together too
Also thats a nice horn lol
This was with my beat friend, we drive in the same area, and a few nights a week even the same road at the same time, so we then plan it so we can drive together
He drives for Postnl, and i for DHL, best combo
Midnight pic
Looks like an evening pic imo
Too dark

so i geuss if lucky
you got the same stops everything
Same stops, no, but we both come from the same general area, and we both go to the same city to unload, he does pick up stuff from customers/company's and i drive from depot tot depot
But the depot i go from and to, are in the same area he also drives in, and his last stop is in the same city i go to as my first stop
ah
so basicly if u got the time u try to wait
my only truck friend drives in france
and havent gone there yet
- hes mainly night
Or he waits, but mostly we try to plan it that we don't have to wait, yesterday i had to wait for 1 minute because i was just a little to early
nice
i am sometimes at a company
and a coworker / charter will arrive
or other way around
i had a early monday
and i come to the second unload spot
both extremely close
and a charter of us is pulling out to leave 😂
they coulda given him my stuff ffs xD
couldve slept in then
Nice
My contract got extended now as driver so very soon hopefully i get to start on truck if i pass the tests etc
What is that cabin bruv
Cant even stand up in there
Proper cabin, still not gigaspace but good enough
Normal cabin. Does everything I need it to do
My CF has probably the same amount of standing height as you got with the Actros
Who cares about standing room tho
Ur gonna be sitting 95% of your time when in the truck
Roof height is only annoying if u got a lowroof
^
True, but the space can be so handy to have, my first truck was a CF lowroof, i did not care about it still had plenty of space, when we got the ovlov FM we had a high roof, but still had not much space, it felt for me if we still had a low roof, that was just slightly higher, could not stand up in it, in the CF i got now, i can stand up straight, although my head hits the roof. Its really nice to have a highroof, also gives tons of storage space in the cab which is easy to reach and use
Also for my work a CF with highroof is overkill, since we never sleep in the truck, and only stays local, so a daycab would be fine to, but we got the truck since the boss just ordered a bunch of them, all the same spec, so they can be used for anything
i mean
the fact they ordered a sleep cab
shows they care tbf
because without one u have storage yes
but u got no real space in the cab
can lay down etc and incase u cant make it somehow u can sleep in the truck
I don't have any problems with lowroof.
Its also a thing of ease to just buy 20 trucks in the same spec than 20 trucks you spec individually, and its also cheaper that way
and i genuinely think it means happier drivers
id rather sit on a bed in breaks / waiting
then a chair
The truck we have are not high spec at all, but they all have a fridge, night heater, night airco, ACC, but a simple aux radio, but i don't care about that, the only thing i miss are the speakers in the rear wall
all ill care for in a truck
is ac
stand ac / heater
ability to connect to radio
a fridge aswell yeah
and a bed would be nice
I just use a aux cable for that, and i don't care as long as i can listen to music
We are free to costumize the truck in a way, we are free to modify the interior to make it feel as home, aslong as its easy to reverse back to stock, and for the outside as long as you don't drill holes they are okay with lights
nice
some trucks are slowly being replaced
and the truckers all got stuff added to how they wanted
aslong as they paid part / all
only 2 trucks that we have afaik
have full interior
The only thing i don't like is that we went from the green/blue collor to plain white
A part of the drivers have curtains, interior lights, topbed cover and enginetl tunnel covers
Some just leave them all stock
yeah
my goal is to get my own truck some day so
and if i do itll get full interior probably
lol
My neighbour does full interior tuning for truck
i genuinely wonder how much it would cost for a full interior
depending on stuff
like i dont need overboard
Luckily I got bluetooth on my truck and on my car
but anything better then the stock plastic xD
nice
Inhad bleutooth in the ovlov, but half of the time it did not work, so i used aux in that truck as well
I got no issues with the Bluetooth in my Volvo
Mine would randomly disconnect when driving, and than it sometimes would work again, or it would only work again after i did a restart, and sometimes it doesn't even wanted to work at all
that was the case in my iveco
so i just restarted the car while driving
as the engine wouldnt go off if i was fast enough
because it was faster then manually turning off the radio
lmfao
i got mercedes now
The volvo sometimes decided to completly shut down all my screens while driving
Moin, wie klein die Welt ist😂
Speak english lol
scheiss stift
Heya, English only please!
2 of the same, but both so different, both from the same date, and one with almost a quarter to a third more on the clock

For one one of the drivers it's a job, for the other it's a lifestyle
True
New bumper is on, nah just kidding
The lady at the chrome shop told us that we hitted 65k since we opened up our account there 🥲, we’ve build 5 trucks since than
All finish up
jezus xD
We might be to much addict whit chrome 🤣
i mean
american trucks just look off
without a chrome bumper
idk where its from but theres a cabover 4x2 roamin around netherlands/ belgium
nice chrome bumper n grill
and some accents
really nice
Nope, not yet at least
nothing a lil drainhole cant fix tbf
We had some back whit the old Eagle we add but running fine on this one
ye
Not sure if I showed that one on here
But yea, it get costly fast building a new truck 🤣
😂
i meaan you this young and already own a few trucks
still smth to be proud of haha
Not mine 😅, but my fathers own the company
Technically, I would need to change the name because a named company will stay to the one that got that name
Yep, way easier to restart from scratch, there’s the same law in the US
i mean
i geuss if ur father would retire
hed probs as a company just sell u everything
for cheap
and u just tell the customers etc yo this n this
new name same peeps
Yep, but we’re running slow rn, got both tanker park bc we didn’t find a good enough driver for the old one and our driver left after he got ban from our biggest loading point
what did he do
He had a bit of anger issues and shouted to a secretary
Yea
i kinda wished i lived in america sometimes
trucking there is cool too
but yea
contract talk soon i know it gets extended
so ill get to hear when i start for truck
I mean, if you got your CDL, ik two truck that are parked 🤣
😂
i doubt ill have the option to get taught manual
seeing they usually aint got manuals to learn in anymore
Trucking in the US sounds cool
until you realize their technology is literally 40-50 years behind
also if you wanna truck in the US you will have to do the Trucking license over there
the European one doesnt count, the normal driving license does tho
you need to do the whole thing as trucks in the US work differently
I got an uncle who owns a trucking company in Canada, I informed myself bout it
if I wanted I could go there but eh
seeing all the horror videos about entitled people, bad drivers and just generally what happens over in the US doesnt make me wanna go there
xD
even if I would be paid much better
the us is far behind tho on some points yea
like i sometimes come across reels of truckers
its classified by the Eu as a third world country
and they complaining they come at a company and gotta wait for hours to unload / load
and then once its done it takes hours for them to empty / load
with forklifts 💀
meanwhile here its done within 20/30 mins depending if its just a normal trailer
and what stuff it is etc
I'd fly over there to take a look at it and make my own opinion for sure
someday surely
so does us
but its probably cheaper to take your truck with you
then buy a new one
true
but its barely worth being an owner/operator anymore from what I've heard
but that truck ull know proper+ i like eu trucks more
due to the fact theyre easier to operate
cuz they aint got 40 meters infront of you
before the steer
yeah but you would be the laughing stock of everybody aswell as just annoying
everybody there goes 60mph
its like all the fuel trucks in europe that do 80kmh
just remove the limiter
bruh
ever driven an EU cab at 60mph?
I went 117kmh once and it was sketchy as shit
they dont like going 100
also gearbox not tuned for those speeds, you'd be way too high on RPM
new tires would be needed
not to mention parts you'd have to source and find a workshop willing to work on it
i mean
alot of it works the same
so i dont think finding a workshop is the issue
oil filters etc are generally the same size
find somebody with the right diagnostic program for that truck too
main issue would be if u break a axle or something
i mean
alot of american trucks
and find enough of them throughout the country
doesnt mean it runs the same ECU's
for diagnostics
go on facebook into a trucker group and ask
you'll see
its not that easy dude
not to mention the transport, you'd have to fly that thing in an Airplane
thats like 10K alone to transport it
plane is way more then 10k
Doesnt fit into a container
ship is like 10k probably
u know theres transport ships
specifically for vehicles right?
yeah super expensive and will take like a month getting there
overall its not worth it
if u really like your truck
i think if im ever at that stage
its worth it for me
if you had spend like 100K and you got 50K spare just to do the whole shenanigans
but thats a shitton of money
the transport part is definetly cheaper then ud think but yea
plenty of eu scanias being imported these days
scandinavia says hi
Depends on the rear axle, most eu trucks easily run 100km/h in a decent rpm range, also a 4x2 is a little sketchy, but if you got a 6x2 or 6x4, its much more stable, there is one company that imports EU scania's reguraly, he owns 5 or 6 Scania trucks
The white one is in Canada, and the red one in the US the owner of the red truck has 10+ Scania's running, all 2 or 3 series
Those are original us trucks tho i believe
Alot of scanias being run in us are by former dutch people who moved wich is kinda funny
The red is an import, also the white one
Theres a tractor dealer or smth
And they got us trucks
And then one scania that the owner drives 😂
Ah didnt know
Cuz ive been seeing very old pics of it
They red one is for a long time in the US, the white one has been imported to the Canada a while back
New Jersey
does being a fleet mechanic count as real life trucking 😎
No
😫
Well neither does being a van driver
watch Swen pull out a 42 site power point presentation of how driving a box sprinter is considered driving a truck in the netherlands
Ha he can try and pull out how long of a presentation he wants,as long as it’s driven on a B license it’s not a truck

I just don't understand why they call it like that. Here in germany sprinters and similar are called trucks as well to somewhat of "officially", despite them being classified as cars and driveable up to 3,5 tons with a B license as well.
Here we basically call the “cargo van” and that can be anything from a Toyota Hiace to a sprinter
in germany we call them "transporter" which is the german term for "cargo van(s)" basically. Nobody calls them trucks, unlike police who work with their official guideline terms n trash
Why is the trailer so far back
No wonder they have 0 traction in america

Green one is ex-Norwegian
Probably different steer and drive axle weight regulations
working on becomming trucker
i am starting lessons soon
just gotta wait and be told when
i think the fifth wheel sits further forwards normally on us trucks
Ye would be same with the insanely rear weight loaded trailers coming from Germany, where they have 3000kg in the first 7m of the trailer and 10000kg in the rear, those are really fun to drive especially in winter.
why not tell them to reload the trailer?
Because it's illegal in Germany due to weight restrictions
thats what happens at my company theyll just reload the whole trailer because idiots put 3-5 tons + in the front
against the wall
😂
On top of that they're not going to unload and reload hundreds/thousands of trailers weekly
if its loaded properly in the first place wont have that issue
Yes but it can't be
4x2 ❤️
Not only do you get 0 traction on 6x2 setup, you have to drive with rear axle lifted to even get any grip to begin with and the whole truck is like a swing
4x2 can load 19 tons total in front and 24 in back in Norway
Sure it isn't as bad during summer, but it's not always summer
That sounds weird
How much can you be total on each unit
That's not too bad
I live in Finland so pretty much same as all Scandinavia countries
You can't be 50 there?
If it's a bad weather i just put as much weight on the rear axle as possible, even if it breaks the law
I don't know the regulations per axle/length etcetcetc but I'm sure u can do more than 50 if there are more axles
I mean a 2525 can go 78tons so
I guess it's possible if all the wheels are twin tyres
Weird, guess I've been overweight there then
its not overweight if u dont know whats in your trailer
Cause weightdistrubution
Gonna geuss u aint drive that
I believe sharing mistakes and a just as fair as sharing lovely photos, with that being said I’ve had my first little dink as a HGV driver, I reversed into the fence because I was told it would be easier than driving in, I was then told that I should’ve driven in forwards by someone else in the same company. No damage to the trailer, minimal crowbar effort required to straighten the pole and brackets, bit red faced and a few apologies was all that was needed
If you drove in forward, was there enough spacw to turn around, or did you have to reverse back intonthe street
As I stated above, I was told to reverse first before then being told to drive in forwards
I only had enough room to park in the space requested once 3 vehicles had moved
Than you did the right thing to reverse into the lot, and that fence, shit happens, and its only a small ding, when there is not a lot of space i prefer to reverse in, so i can drive out forward into the street, if you have to reverse into the street, you won't always be able to see cars, and hitting one of them is worse than a fence/ fence post
Rather a little fence pole then a car
100% true
The one thing ill miss when i get to truck properly
Is just being able to pull off the highway and into a mcdonalds prking lot for your breaks / the toilet
As even a small truck usually doesnt fit in their parkings of most mcdonalds
Who’s to say you can’t?
Service stations have McDonald’s in them
Not common here
Only one i know of out of my head
Is the one at the border with belgium
Theres usually not often a restaurant on the rest stops
And most of the times their toilets u gotta pay for so
I dont like that
Could go in a bush but try n avoid that
Midnight paper roll loading action
eh I already wrecked the bottom of my cooler trailer door
you cant always see everything in a mirror thats about 2.3 meters away from you anyway
A bit fcked
Someone on our Yard did this tho. With a 25ton coil inside
Switching from day to night on the fly after taking one of our broken down trucks trailers, trying to survive staying up nearly 30 hours before I can get on ferry and get to sleep
beauty of trucking sometimes
(I got a 9 hour break in-between in the same ferry I'm going to in a few hours but stayed up because I thought I'd have normal schedule 🤓)
Did the legs give up or did he forget to put them down, should avoid putting a trailer on its legs with that kind of a load in it anyway unless there's a support beam available
wha
no he just reversed into it wrong and it collapsed
and no, there is no need for an extra beam to support that, our trailers are always loaded with 23 to 28 tonnes and the legs are just fine
I mean I understand if it's evenly spread, I'd just assume if 25tons is directly on top of them if they are worn in any way they'd give up. Don't know that much about them tbh never had to deal with such loads/weights
How did he reverse wrong though?
no idea, wasnt there to see it
and no, the Legs are rated to 20 tons each
the Coil sits perfectly in the middle of the trailer
Oh right nevermind then, makes sense. I've heard about trailers tipped though from having too much weight in the front
its also a very normal weight, 25 tones will make about 39-40T of total mass
I've had 28T load with a CNG Iveco
glad those are gone
piece of shit
I currently have 37000kg load on me total around 66000kg 25,25meters but I have never hauled a singular object that weights so much like a coil or an engine block or something
Always been full loads
Usually paper
Usually I drive pretty lightweight stuff, from 3-10tons which Im grateful for because they're such nice loads
ye nice powah while being fully loaded
Swapped from the CF to a XF for tonight
oo nice
this kolega has weekend
1800 km and 36hours in 3 days
😂
how u like the xf so far? @magic girder
apparently talking to a coworker a while ago we are getting one soon
as drivers can choose between daf / scania
Its really nice to drive with
no tededem yet?
Nope
My CF has 145k on it sofar, and hasn't been in the workshop for anything
nice
The only thing it has been in for is the APK but that was a in and out in 5 minutes
yeah
to be fair if u need to have major components serviced on a truck
at a apk with such low mileage
something is off
also btw @magic girder apparently fuel cost gon go up again

diesel is still 1.90 aud lmfao
used to be around 2.35 during the lockdowns for diesel
diesel is like 1,50
the ole days when diesel was cheaper then petrol
About 15 cent
Diesel betweem 1.45 to 1.70 and petrol isnhere between 1.65 and 2.00
98 is cheaper then diesel currently which is pretty sad
98 is here around 2.20
The only thing they did was a oil change and the filters
yeah
but i meant
if u have severe wear on parts
that it needs replacing that soon
Some.people can do that, trust me
ofc yeah
The olvov had been towed in whennit was 6 months old because of a broken fuel line
98 is i think a dollar 65
dunno i dont remember
tbf
that could be due to faulty product
if thats al it had not bad
My brother in christ
I reached the highest average consumption yet
Before emptying the truck I had 41.9L/100km
Damn, when i run at 23l/100 km i'm already thinking its high
Well I was running lot of hills with 20t through cities
Gah damn
I mostly drive 80 or 83, only when i'm late i do drive 86 or 90
weekend here!😎
wouldnt that aero on the top be practically redundant?
needs to be a full spoiler
but every bit helps
Will do that in the future. Some other things I have to do before that tho
I think he means putting ur lights on
not any extra
They're on
Edited photo + filter on the camera
Nice Italian flag
that's Hungarian!!!!!!😂
nah mate thats Italian
thats the pizza flag
ayo, anyone trucking in Poland here?
There's a guy but I forgot his name.
Connected these batteries to find out the starter is crap 🫤
We there is a agreement that if the truck ia half full it needs to be filled up, and you start the day and find in on almost a quarter instead
if u got shifts on a truck
fill it up fully
if its your own truck
unless you go on vacation or have a few days off and know it may be used
then fill it up too
I drive the night shift, and other drive the day, the night shift is not allowed to fill it up due to safety reasons, so dayshift has to fill it up, and they also have to load and unload each day next to the pump they can fill up, and the rule is, when its half way, just fill it up, we can do about 2.5 to 3 days on half a tank, so i still should be able to make it, but i rather just fill it up and be sure
i see
just tell him to fill it up
and if he dont u gon talk to lead
if you arent allowed to
maybe last 2/3 days but maybe something happens and it starts using mass fuel amounts so u runout u never know
Sent him already a message, did not respond yet, so i just will fill it up
If the tanks are both filled, we can do about 3500 to 4000km, but most of the day drivers only fill up 1 tank, then we only can do about 2000 to 2500 km, and thats also what the last person did who filled it up
why wont they just fill both
they lasy??
most pumps u have 1 on each side
put in both nossles
We should be able to make it 4 to 5 days on 2 full tanks, but to be sure the company policy is to fill up when half full
and itll both be filled in notime
Filling up both diesel tanks and adblue is faster than filling up 1 LNG tank
They are, i just take a few minutes extra to do both
its litterally case put in terminal one
put hose in and on
then go back do the other one
It does, i'm happy i don't have to do that anymore
Not all pumps allow for that, so i just do side by side, but thats only a 10 to 15 minute job total
most pumps ive been too
have 1 lane ones aswell
so u can pump both at once
just a case of pay attention piotr doesnt pulup
and take one of ur hoses for his tank lol
The one i go to today is a 1 lane, but with a nozzle on each side
Since i don't do the day shift, i don't have to fill up, but when i did day shifts, i always look what the truck was and what for tank(s)s it had, and under half way i always filled up and the end of my shift
Unless it was a truck that drove international, had drove the next day to belgium, than we left it, cause fuel is cheaper there
yea
u can fuel up at any pump or?
were meant to only do at dcb pumps
wich is very annoying when ur empty and needa do a 40min detour
especially on van lol
seeing i can do 450 ish
and then i needa look for a pump depending how much i still gotta go
Filles up again with almost 900 liter, have 1200 liter total
Better then me
U dont have to look
If u can get any bp
They preffer the Express pumps, those are cheaper
And the ones that are off the highways
Ofcourse
I dont pay any attention to that
I take wichever pump lets me use my card xD
I have respect for American truckers and their proud culture for 500 yr old blown up 200hp trucks
What's with the manual elitism in america, just curious
I have to say, the old trucks have more charm, and are much more fun to drive, even if they lack some comfort
I do have to say I much prefer driving an older series r scania than next gen
After 2 yrs of next gen I've driven a 520 V8 streamline for a little over a month now and it's so much better in so many ways
Can't compare to an S series though, never driven
Netherlands today
yea
im glad i didnt get sent that way
i for sure wouldve flipped most likely lol
surprised my wind assist kicked in only once today
They got a top of almost 180 km/h in windspeed
damm
yeah i for sure woulda flipped over
if i was sent that way
even if i had some load
3/4 tons will be blown away easy xD
Just drove with a empty box trailer, was kinda sketchy a few times, but loaded won't be much better, only got 6 tons in it, although i will have the wind from the rear, so will drove a little better
yea
i geuss youd be fine usually in a truck compared to van
i had to cross a bridge at a16
near breda
idk if u know it
but everyone was forced to go slow and i decided mmm
i will drive next to a dump truck XD
Drive that everyday
let him block the wind
oh nice
im so tired i gotta start at 5 am again tommorrow
trucks early = next day late start + short trip usually
meanwhile ive been starting 5am all week besides tuesday wich was 6
Did the same a few years ago, i was loaded, and a empty truck wasn't able to crossz so i drove next to him to get him across
and not being done before 4/5
yeah
if someone flips they do that too
ask someone whos loaded n heavy
to block wind to get it straight
then drive paralel to get off
Yep, best way to do it
i think he noticed too as he slowed down a bit as my van was struggling with the wind to get some speed
im surprised u drive a16 alot
as i rarely see your coworkers there
I go from Zwolle to Roosendaal
Most that drive to belgium take de A27 A58 and then on to the border
yea
i see them there sometimes
and if im in zwolle region
i sometimes see one or two
depends
Drive over the bridge around 2300 to 2400, going to Roosendaal, and between 1.30 and 2.30 going back to Drachten
right
well if im delayed enough
ill probs be in groningen region or smth
as those days im usually really late
ill let u know next time maybe by chance were close
u start at 15 right?
I leave first at around 17.45 from Drachten to Heerenveen, and then back to Drachten, then i leave at 20.00 in Drachten, be round 21.10 in Zwolle, where i leave between 21.30 and 22.20 for Roosendaal
ah ok
and then sleep all day xD
Yes
i loved being up at night n sleeping in the day
idk why
iwas unemployed but still
was only annoying when i had to buy groceries and i slept too long 😂
I also love it, always been a night guy
id rather drive at night
its calmer
less chance of traffic
no idiots in cars
- can see better of the nice trucks with lights
lol
Enough idiots still on the roads
And enough police chases, especially the border region
really?
ive never seen one so far
also havent seen any accidents happen yet / bad ones
geuss thats a good thing
There is a lot of drugs running happening in that region, seen multiple chases with prepared cars for it, where they can switch of the rear amd brake lights
that doesnt surprise me yeah
also i feel like theyd get away with it way easier during the day
then speeding fast at midnight
wich stands out alot more xd
They just drive normal, untik the police tries to pull them over
ah
But ones they flee, they can switch of the rear lights
yea
Seen more than that
i havent
i geuss its easier for you to find them
seeing people probably driving and tired
Worst was a 17 year old kid that took his parents car for a joyride, crashed with 170 into a truck, got airlifted, but survived
Not directly
not something u wanna see happen either tbf
True
That will explain why i can't find cables for speakers in the back of the cab, time to buy some wires and run them to there and install some speakers
Talkin bout speedin
Got caught by a camera yesterday
I would have braked but I just overtook a LIDL driver and he wasnt much behind me
I guessed a speeding ticket is much better than a nearby accident and a pissed off driver
That sucks
Here they wouldn't even bother
I still dont understand the 60 and 80 limit in Germany
but you can do 70 in a city
explaint me that logic
oh, I saw a better spoiler today
it was a german military truck right
yknow they have low cabins
they had a big container on the back
and used 2 solar panels as a Spoiler
ngl need that for our Truck
can stay at a truck stop playin xbox all day with no problem
I don't really mind the spoiler
I think it looks oogly
Does the job tho and I'm not gonna go buy a new one
buy solar pannels
No
yes
Got no use for them
bragging rights
Still, got no use for them. If you want to buy them for me and pay for getting them installed, sure but otherwise no
Where was this?, since here they only ticket you when you are 7 over
No
I got a ticket for 5 over lol
In town, yes, 5 and over, highways 7 and over
https://snelheidsovertredingen.om.nl/ you can see what you had to drive in order to get a ticket
Then you where going already more than 7 over the limit, and the ticket you got was already with the correction, since under 100 km/h its 7 and over between 100 and 120 its 8 and over, and above 130 its 6 or more
🇳🇴
A2
and yes, they ticket you for 5 over
8 over on a n road
So 5 over ticket

Manual runs better and longer then auto here
Mines not old
Than you where doing more than 7 over, and with the correction you got a ticket for 5
Did u not see the msg above that xD
I did, but just a small explaining, one thing know that its from more than 7 and above i tend to just drive 86 in traject controls because i know i'm save, and i about overtake anyone
yea
im always doing 105 on gps
not gps
on speedo
can probably do 105 trough it
but with 100 im already overtaking everyone xD
To tall, tunnel closed 5min.
The tunnel is 4meters and the truck is 3,95 the detection point it on a small bump in the road. So we keep getting denied into the tunnel.
So both sides to closed for us to turn around

never seen that
I swear to god I would still find some polish drivers to just go through
i mean
usually they let u get close to the front
often ill see a car or two infront of the truckds
make em unable to still force trough
Not possible
The traffic lights turn red above the road
And much more
More than 6 years ago with the club out for drive, my truck is the red one at 2.17.
We went from the Nothern part of the Netherlands, takimg a scenic route to the Krone factory in Wertle Germany for a factory visit, after a great lunch and factory tour we went back to the Netherlands to close the day off with a dinner, that day we drove about 500 km, multiple trucks, including my self had to fill up along the way to make it.

Voorjaarsrit VVVNN
Met bezoek aan Krone in Werlte
ayeeeee Werlte
I spent the night there once
and also got some new Krone trailer from there
holy shit, air fryer is a godsend for on the road trucking
ive always used microwave but tried air fryer now, i can literally make normal meals on it
ye air fryer is good
if your doing somethin like this again
can i maybe tag along? :D
This is from the group i'm in, they are based in the north, the 3 nothern provinces
If i have roof should be possible, but we drive only in the Nothern part of the Netherlands with this group, there are also other groups, but did not drive with them yet
i dont mind driving a bit

Thats a good thing
woulld have the wrong job otherwise
I went to visit this company the other day
300km one way
they transport cars
its a very interesting line of work, but jeezus I just cannot live with the small cabin
the moment you realize you have driving with all those trucks in the picture, and none are driving for the company anymore, first one has been taken out the fleet and been exported in 2018 already, and the last one in 2021

I couldnt drive that
the seat doesnt go far enough back and lean
Koleka truck
The truck was delivered and the right air bellow was already broken
And if you throw your bag in "nicely" every piece of plastic makes a noise, you can't even sit nicely bec the seat is Harder than wood
We nicely call it the plastic bomber
Tf u expect when your boss orders kurwa spec

I'm burning
pathetic
Bro 43°C
lightweight
baguette 🥖
schnitzel 🇸🇪
What a line up

When they load incorrectly so a pallet with a tip sensor thing on it falls over

Somehow the sensors things on it didnt fallout to indicate it was flipped so

Last time I checked it’s always the drivers responsibility to make sure their load is loaded and secured properly
Does this qualify as a dangerous actio
u drive dis ?
i mean
no
but theyll cry
becuz phone

double standard laws tbf
im more distracted grabbing my water bottle
then texting real quick
I wasnt even texting, just took a pic lmao
😜🤫🤩
Can you show your truck?
Beautiful ❤️
Thankyou😁
Interior shot
Amazing interior ❤️
oooo
For some reason I’m incredibly grateful you didn’t take that picture further north.
Lol
🤦♂️😂😂
Damm, looks good, what size the crane? An 100 or?
140
Ohh not bad, I've only driven one with a 19 for your average home construction material, nothing major at all
Ofc
This is one way to spend the day at work.
Any UK drivers here?
Hopefully not 😂
Why not? haha
Yeah certainly is. I want to branch out more towards Europe
Germany is mostly nice
My hometown
Everything is well signaled so no worries into running a bridge thats too low
Also lmfao, this Netto where Im at are some real C words
They are angry that I wont take some of their empty boxes and shit
I told em I cant take em, they would just bounce around in my trailer damaging it
They called my company abd netto amd everything
Still on the exact same spot
Sometimes life is unfair and good people leave to early, we gona miss you on the road, R.I.P.
Not much. Company asked what was the problem so I told them, they said it was understandable and leave me be. Netto even told me I dont have to take any boxes from them lmao
Small road
Lost a coworker? 😢
One of the night drivers from DHL, he was from another depot than i drive from, but saw him sometimes in one of the depots, or saw him a few times a week on the road.
sorry for your loss
Aw I’m sorry man
I'm so sorry for your lost @magic girder 🖤
I do kinda wonder which one of those you drive

Why would I?
My Company aint at the Event and there is nothing wrong with not having a full show truck
You act like youve paid for your entire truck and have some sort of show truck. Nevermind not even having a complete cabin
"For random truck pics, use #photos"
Not stupid
@neon valley please as Rowan mentioned could you use #photos next time for such pictures? 🙂
And thank you mr mod Rowan

No Problem Mrs Mod Cora.
They are, I said it back then and I say it again, dictatorship like no Server Ive seen
There is a good reason why I took like 10 people from here to my own Server
^^
What are you even talking about
Ya Noxii stop flexing with ur showtruck!
Nah I can’t flex it cuz apparently I don’t have a complete cabin
I suppose I’m missing like half the seats and all
And wall
Yay, I guess
