now my next question is for the promods devs here: when SCS releases BC in the next year or 2, will promods remove BC and instead focus on alberta or will they integrate the dlc into the mod like ets2

They have a very small team to work on ATS to development has always been slow but I'm sure they have said BC will be merged with what they can but they will work on other provenances and, who knows when or if, maybe Mexico.

The map is full of them, some large and some so small it doesn't seem worth the bother of adding them but definitely is worth it for how beautiful they look.

into promods and non-promods
just like ets2
ets2's large community makes it fine to split, but ats community barely reaches above 200 players at one time so splitting it into those who use promods and those who dont will make it that much smaller

I think the underlying issue was when ATS first released TMP took about a year to actually support it
By that point convoys were more popular in that game, ATS for tmp did gain traction but not for long

I was planning to get rusmap (and related to it compatible maps) but im not sure if they would work with the great steppe

RusMap should work well with promods. There are any maps that you can add with a bit of research, I can't remember which as I don't use them.
