Not really, above they spoiled the fight and her only "difficulty" is than she´s almost the same HP as Melbu
In the standard game, it's a difficult combat, in hell mode...
I don´t know what level you were, but I have level 7 dragoon and I did 320 to Jiango in special wind field, so I think that´s the max I can do
One thing I thought: if you unlock items in dragoon form, the keybind input will conflict with the one for dragoon magic, because it´s the same for the item in no-dragoon
Dramod menu bugged in Hellena, right after Jiango´s battle, it doesn´t let me exit
I had to maintain pressed "square" button until it exit itself, also it let me enter in normal menu

Only download "DraMod v2.0 Beta v1.2" if you have installed the previous v1.1 release. Just paste it into your new SC folder. Hascel MIGHT survive a magic hit? but Shana's problem will be the physical damage, but I do have a knight's shield

@iron bone when you have Albert, if you re-add Lavitz from DraMod menu, it comes without his final addition unlocked, I needed to change his party flag to the same as Albert to recover Flower Storm
You dont have to reselect it
The master addition flag check is broken in sc.
I have yet to fix it with the new changes. If you enter battle right away without going to the menu he should still use flower storm.

Lavitz does more damage than Albert with their final addition, and Albert should be the one doing more damage, because he has a better weapon

All rendering has to be done from the main thread
Some of it could build geometry at any time which will crash and if it doesn't crash you would need to do tight synchronization to make sure you render at the correct time during a game tick

Magic barrier from Kongol 2 should protect from all magic but "item magic" in dragoon form bypasses it
maybe a bug, maybe a mechanic i dont know about, but i killed the 2 first guards in the fruegal 1 fight, then used wing blaster on fruegal alone and it did no damage, didnt even pop up a 0 damage number at all

Like, I read the doc and everything, event tried in combat but I don't really get it

So in a single target situation you attack and a purple number will appear sometimes
When you are selecting a monster a purple bar will show up for haschel.
If the purple bar is full you can use spark net to deal more damage to the target.
In multi target say you use thunderbolt and get a charge on all 3 monsters but want to move all those charges to a single target. You would use the static charge to gather all charges from enemies.
So if you have 1 on each you would use static charge to apply all 3 to 1 monster.
Question: is adding the level 1 party right at the start of the game not enabled currently? I haven’t seen it in the dramod menu even in that very first area you control dart.

Ive been gaining a little more than a level of xp from each boss on average, and Grand Jewel is like boss 22 or 23.... and considering you get to Frugel 1 at like level 4 or 5, how on earth did you even manage to avoid that much xp to be 24 there?
I'm lvl 24 after the ghost ship but that's maybe because I always had Albert on the team

I managed to first try her lvl 24 with Dart Albert Shana and focusing Regole first
With Albert Dlvl 4 and Dart/Shana Dlvl 3
Dart final burst with full burn stack did like 3k to Regole, that felt really good 😄

I think he cranked the drop rate from 2% to 40% and there are 4 opportunities, I too got 3
24 was what I beat her at as well, but it was very rough, and definitely not first try. Used Albert/Meru/Haschel, havent changed party (and dont plan to, maybe Haschel for Miranda) once I got them all
Lenus 1 is being really hard, different experience for me. It doesn't help when she gets 2 phys attacks + 2 magic attacks IN A ROW, then one of my turns, then 1 phys attack + 1 magic attack

When you transform she "enrage" and get free turns
Sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn't
You shouldn't transform or (i'm not sure about this one) transform only 1 character and press the button to get out of the dragoon form after your turn
Now I didn't transform and she got a free turn, magic, dead
She also have a counter after getting hit a few time, she will get a free turn
You shouldn't attack with somebody that deal low dmg when she is in yellow or red I think
I used a healing item and she got a free turn with nobody transformed

Albert seems king for the entirety of the game, never left my party, every boss fight/ultimate revolved around as much burst from his special as possible, and then getting him back into dragoon as fast as possible. I do agree that Meru feels weak, she also never left my party, however I think she has the strongest personal ability in Magic State

Meru's mechanic is called Magic State and costs 10 MP per turn to use. While in Magic State any damage that Meru does 1% of it is transferred to a shield. Meru gains Enhanced Guard while in this state increasing the amount of healing from Guard. In Hard Mode Enhanced Guard heals 18% HP. In Hell Mode Enhanced Guard heals 15% HP.

Aside from the addition swap, the other thing I'm completely in love with is the +50sp 0mp dragoon magics, it adds a lot of delay and tankiness and makes the extraordinary damage spikes from the enrage, doable. Pairing that with the forced-dragoon exit, makes combat feel so incredible and satisfying

Oh no no, it's incredibly useful. You asked how we were dealing with bosses without cheating or debug, and this is a big reason the fights become manageable. They return 50 sp, which let's you stay in dragoon longer, which, obviously you are tankier in (180% def/mdef)

Another reason why chaining Spinning Gales from Albert back to back, is really strong. Keeps him in dragoon forever while delaying enemy every time he gets a turn

I tried very hard to smoke bomb or "save reload" to reset encounters to skip fights and avoid as much xp as possible from regular monsters, since the bosses give so much xp
Random encounters are for leveling additions and d-level, never meant for XP or gold
Also the random enemies do so much damage than they waste your resources

so the consensus is everyone likes albert more than kongol

One of the biggest downsides to Kongol is actually the base games linear progression of mdmg vs pdmg, as you progress, more bosses do more magic attacks than physical, which means Kongol, gets worse and worse as you get to harder and harder bosses. This is obviously super magnified by the mdmg scaling and enrage mechanics in this mod
They all have elemental weapons
That's why he's not worth it
On paper, his ultimate weapon looks like one of the strongest because of that guard
But also.... you have some bosses who have guard pen attacks.. 😱

Real question, current state mod, how does Kongol not die every turn vs Ult Firebirb with guard pen dive? The fight wasn't that bad for Albert Meru Miranda, but I cannot fathom how Kongol does that fight

I feel like every boss I struggled with came down to Albert getting back Sp as fast as possible and doing as.much damage in dragoon as possible, so personally it felt like it had too much value. But obviously it's not the only way since you are close to where I am and also didn't use debug/cheats

He really felt unfair when he pop up his shield and spam multi target magic attack which only Shana survived (and she had the healing penalty xD)

Lenus 2 (Rogole wave damage) was a notable wall, and Kamuy had me questioning Haschel's involvement... in my crew, I didn't remove him until Polter but the seed of doubt started there. He was rough for him.

Yeah, this part of the readme feels wrong to me :
Rose will provide additional healing to herself while using any attack in Dragoon form and others if using Astral Drain Astral Drain - Heals an additional amount based on Rose's Max HP (Rose Max HP * Dragoon Level * 0.0425) to the whole party. Dark Dragon - Heals Rose for 10% of the damage dealt.

If you want to use his special ? Yes, by far
If he doesn't go special and you're not facing an earth element opponent, take the one with the higher AT stat you have
Maybe I have a bug, like you with Shana's weird penalty
