The Renault in forza handles unbelievably well too

It's just hard to find the reaction time

The Merc is dreamy at low speed in GT Sport but they updated it after adding it to define the engine from low speed

The 2007 Ferrari went faster for me, but it's lighter, and has MUCH less torque so it's so easy to carry lots of throttle during a corner and be flat super early. At least in GT5

wrong wrong wrong. Sochi was a terrible track, politics were the perfect excuse for it to go. War means less money from sponsors, also taking money from russians stains your brand in the eyes of the general public. So urakali got booted. Mazepin was a terrible person, terrible driver, and all out of money to give. So avoiding his terrible brand and getting another driver was also the optimal option

I was kind of confused about Oliver Bearman about one thing

Cause he's often seen wearing the Ferrari clothes, and he even races in place of Sainz when he was ill

And given Haas holds decently close relations with Ferrari, being their engine supplier and even having their HQ in the same country

Is Haas like a junior team for Ferrari? Cause Oliver seems to be as much of a Ferrari driver as a Haas driver

This was after only starting races 1-7 and 15-17

It's honestly kind of amazing reading what I read on Formula 1 and how events unfold

This sport is the pinnacle of motorsport, not because of its budget or status or the cars' speed and the drivers' skills

it's a combination of everything
Despite having existed for so many decades, there is still no sport quite like it

You have championships where
Good drivers couldn't get a WDC due to the car
Good drivers who could get a WDC despite the car
Good drivers who could get a WDC because of the car
Sub par drivers couldn't get a WDC due to the car
Sub par drivers could get a WDC despite the car
Sub par drivers could get a WDC because of the car

You can't deny that even the least skilled F1 driver is still from a pretty high grade

And you have so many instances of amazing drivers who could have won more but didn't
And sub par drivers who couldn't normally win but did win due to reasons

This honestly makes the fact that Lewis or Schumacher or Max could keep their streaks going for so long even more amazing

The fact that year after year, the teams still managed to stay on top by making a car that could get them that win

And the three I mentioned arne't even equal drivers in terms of skill

it's all a mixture of things
Driver skill and the car they drive

We had drivers like Mansell who could have won so many more WDCs if they didn't encounter so many instances of bad luck
And we had drivers like Hill, which no offense intended, really weren't seen as contenders for a WDC and only got it due to the circumstances

It's a very unpredictable sport from season to season, sometimes race to race

Aston Martin next season could either be the fastest thing mankind has ever laid eyes upon, or the slower than they are currently, despite Newey's inputs

I honestly am learning to appreciate the sport and drivers and teams more and more as time goes on
