Hello Muthseras, I am in need to alchemical ingredients, but I don't know what are good magical ingrediants to start my experiment with.

If you have any recommandation, that would be very kind, and I will give the potions for the Temple, for they may give them to people in needalmsivi

I have a few suggestions for potions I'd typically make.

Bottom of my post for a condensed grocery list!

Restore Fatigue:

One of the most common potions you can brew. Lots of food items will have this property, so anywhere that sells food is a good place to find them. Just combine the foods. Lighter foods are best.

A fortify effect can be added if Scuttle, scrib-jerky, or hound meat are mixed, specifically.

Restore Health:

Marshmarrow, Salt Rice, and Whickwheat are very common to purchase and find in large quantities if you're willing to pick them. They make a lightweight health potion. They're your best options.

Restore Magicka:

This is an unfortunately expensive potion to brew. Comberry is a lightweight and cheaply found and purchased ingredient. It will be your base.

Daedra Hearts, Void Salts, or Frost Salts are your next reasonable ingredients that provide the effect. Salts being the lighter weight option.

You'll need to do some fighting if you plan to brew Restore Magicka potions.

Telekinesis:

Telekinesis potions are extremely helpful when you'd like to perform an action from an unobserved angle or distant reach. This could include stealing or picking locks or activating switches or whatever else you could think. Very useful.

Scuttle and Bonemeal can be mixed together to make a Telekinesis effect.

Bonemeal can be found in large quantities anywhere you find undead or burial grounds, so it's a good idea to stockpile it when you get the chance. Scuttle can be bought at most outfitters and anywhere food is sold.

Alit hide works as well but is heavier and a little less common.

Levitate:

A potion any traveler should never be without. Whether clearing terrain, escaping a river with steep banks, or exploring less vertically accessible hiding places for potential valuables, it won't be something you'll want to be left without, just in case.

These are best brewed from Coda Flowers and Trama Root picked by hand or purchased. Coda usually grows in wet environments and Trama dry environments.

Racer Plumes from Cliff Racers can also be used. They're definitely not in short supply in the right areas. It's up to you.

Water Breathing:

Another useful potion you'll definitely want to keep around just in case during your travels. It speaks for itself.

Hackle-Lo Leaf, and Luminous Russula mushrooms are the easiest to find if picking yourself. Kwama Cuttle can be gathered but like all ingredients, buying is potentially more convenient if money isn't an issue.

Water Walking:

Ampoule Pods, fish Scales, and Violet Coprinus are the best ingredients to safely gather.

Kwama Cuttle is another option if available to you in some capacity.

Walking is much faster and safer if you must travel by water. Another handy potion to keep a store of.

Cure Common Disease:

Willow Anther and Chokeweed are the easiest ingredients to find and pick. They grow in most lush regions.

Muck from coastal Muck-Sponges are another option, as is Green Lichen. Though less common.

Red Lichen in harsher drier environments.

If in a tomb or simply assaulted by undead, Gravedust is a good thing to hold onto specifically for this potion.

You never know when you'll catch an unpleasant affliction, so it's always a good idea to have a couple on you at all times.

Cure Blight Disease:

Ash Salts from the dangerous beasts in the Red Mountain regions and anywhere they have managed to invade can cure the disease the beasts cause.

Mix with Scrib Jelly to create potions to cure Blight afflictions.

Purchase Ash Salts for safer acquisition if preparing for future encounters with Blight.

As an overall stockpile, it's a good idea to get about least 20 of any of these ingredients as a minimum if possible.

Ingredients you'll want to stockpile in as large of a quantity as possible will be the ingredients that provide Restore Fatigue and Restore Health properties. They are the cheapest, most plentiful, and therefore extremely useful to train alchemy with.

Fatigue:

Bread
Chokeweed
Crab Meat
Hackle-Lo Leaf
Hound Meat
Large Kwama Egg
Saltrice
Scrib Jerky
Scuttle
Small Kwama Egg

Health:

Corkbulb Root
Marshmerrow
Resin
Wickwheat

**It's a lot easier to remember just a few to stockpile when you return to your base of operations where your alchemy lab is located.

I usually pick:**

-Marshmerrow
-Whickwheat
-Scuttle (which has other uses.)
-Chokeweed
-Hackle-Lo Leaf

They are plentiful enough to satisfy potion-making, but if you carry a mortar and pestle and grind down food ingredients aside from those everywhere you go you can gain money and experience as you travel.
