#Every file's volume shows up as "Unknown" in properties [Linux Mint MATE 22.2]

While installing linux Mint on my spare laptop, I've ran into an inconvenience. For some reason, win10 was installed on the HDD, but I wanted LM to be installed on my SSD for obvious reasons. So, that's why I couldn't pick the option "Wipe drive and install Linux Mint", as it would install it on the HDD. I had to manually setup partitions, formating win10 from the HDD, setting up a /home partition there, and making /, a swap space, and an EFI partition on my SSD. After that, I have succsessfully installed LM, and it works just fine.

After that, I have noticed that every single file (That I have checked, that is) has "Unknown" set as their volume. This freaks me out big time. It doesn't seem to cause any issues, but it just doesn't feel right. I feel like, someday it will cause an Error while trying to acess some important file. Is this normal? Is there a way to fix it without completely re-installing the OS?

Keep in mind, I'm a noob, who does not know Linux. I also don't really understand how a computer stores data. Actually, a part of why I've installed Linux, is to learn stuff about computers. Thanks for your help in advance!

I've just installed Caja (the Mate File Manager) on my system, and it reports everything as Volume: Unknown here as well. I wouldn't worry about it. 🙂
