Now, this isn't any MacBook... This is a 2006, Intel core 2 duo, 512mb of ram, running MacOS 10.4.9... I have tried to install multiple distros (all via efi) and they will not even show up upon holding option(alt) on boot, the usb will not show up. The only time i've gotten it to show up was when I was (attempting to) installing Refind. Although Refind does not wish to be installed and the MacBook will not find the efi without it... I was wondering if there was a distro that would show up right without refind, or if there was a way to get refind properly installed. I also don't have any dvds so that's out of the question. Anything helps, thanks!
