When I load in a steam game, during the loading screen while it's loading objects or the map, the game crash or freezes and then I'm forced to restart the pc.
(The game is meant to run on Ubuntu and it's an unity base game)
What I've tried to do:
I was using the 24.04.02 version of Ubuntu, I have installed the amd drivers correctly and I've updated the system.
I've also changed the vm.max_map_count following a youtube tutorial but still didn't work.
I also tried to change Proton version of steam etc but was still the same.
During the 24.04 version of Ubuntu I wasn't facing this problem, the game was running smooth and it would crash only after a few hours of gameplay, which is still fine for me. But now with this version (24.04.02) I can't even load in the map.
I was looking for that version of Ubuntu but I couldn't find it anymore to download, seemed to me like it has been replaced by the new version but if I'm wrong please correct me and if you could, send me the link so I can download it.
Mybe somebody could help me since I tried my best but I'm not knowledgeable on Ubuntu nor on any operating system.
