#New Skilling Boss

Sadly my fav skilling boss (croesus) is dead content. Due to new magic gear, combat updates etc the rewards are essentially obsolete.

Specifically:

  • Legs, chest, helm = ~100m or so (down from ~300mish+ pre updates)
  • gloves are ~10m boots maybe 20?idk
  • book is like 40m
  • sack is also like 40m

With an average of at least 5-6 hrs per drop… the only really worthwhile loot now are the off hands which… are 2/7 possible drops. I just spent 10 hours to get a 100m top… for the 5th time.

Conversely; gates is more efficient with 1man teams and the drop rates are atrocious. Wiki says 1/120 for a unique; 1/70 for latent offering. I am at almost 180 runs without any drops (not even a latent offering). -_-

Would really like to see a new skilling boss that is highly quest locked, oriented to teams, AND good gp with some juicy rewards. I suck ass at pvm bossing; I’m more of a skiller. Croe was great while it lasted.

Not to sound argumentative.. but if your favorite skilling boss drops dead content, won't it be better to ask for devs to revive its drops (by buffing or adding a new effect) rather than asking for a completely new boss? You won't even know if you'd like the gameplay of the new one.
