Returning OSRS player fairly new to RS3 LFC!

Hi there,

I'm Snow, and I've been playing MMOs for a pretty long time now. Started off in my early teens as a F2P only Runescape player with a bit of Adventure Quest on the side, and then transitioned into the likes of WoW and eventually FFXIV. Last year I got back into OSRS and played for a good few months before the hyperfixation died in me, and I got tired of doing questlines that just ended suddenly and were left on cliffhangers that make Netflix's show cancellation habits look tame.

I recently got back into RS3 and I've been loving it, but I got into it by playing a Taskman account. Which, while great, and while I appreciated the guidance, the rules got a bit overwhelming for me and I spent more time worrying about if I was breaking rules or not than actually doing anything. So, here I am, with a fresh ironman account with no restrictions other than the obvious, and looking for a new group of friends and allies to play along with.

Ideally, I'm looking for an LGBT friendly clan, and one thats active but not overwhelming large. I like my smaller clans because they feel more intimate and friendly, and its easier to get to know names when there aren't 1000+ members to deal with. Events are always something I'd be interested in, whether its an ingame celebration of someone's skillcape, a group minigame, or even a movie night, then I'm usually down if it fits my schedule. The only thing I ask is that I be part of a clan that isn't heavy on the discord notifications x.x My OSRS clan was fantastic, but my discord notifications got maxed faster than I did.

As for what times I'm around, I am British, and I do live in Britain, but I'm a night shift worker, so my schedule is a little funny. I tend to be awake and available between <t:1776279606:t> and <t:1776245406:t>

Oh, and I do have a cat, and I do pay pet tax for any discord with a pets channel!

Welcome back to RS3 @lucid silo! We are a bit on the larger side but I like to think we're pretty intimate and super friendly! We celebrate our accomplishments together and lift each other up when we can. Most of our events are between 18:00-23:00 GT and have some that are earlier in the morning or later in the evening too. Hey @lucid silo ! If by chance you're still looking for a clan, I've read your post and you sound like a good match for Surreal! We're a 15+ year old clan that went through an overhaul back in January. We're working on rejuvenating the clan while always maintaining a smaller size. We also regularly maintain our T7 citadel.

The points you mentioned:

• I'm looking for an LGBT friendly clan - YES! We do not tolerate discrimination or anything. A person is a person regardless and we're all fabulous!
• one thats active but not overwhelming large - I can't say we're SUPER active currently, but we are moderately especially in text channels on discord. We are trying to change this however, and hope you'd be willing to give us a try and stick around for a while if we feel like the clan for you. We will also never be overwhelmingly large (we have a membership cap of 100 members)
• Events are always something I'd be interested in - We have some recurring skilling events in your available time frame, and are attempting to branch out into some PvM events! Suggestions are always welcome and members can host their own events if they want!
• a clan that isn't heavy on the discord notifications - No excessive role pings here! I think our last role ping was back in January? That said, we may be adding on to our server at some point to include self-assignable role pings for activities people can opt in for if they choose, but there's no immediate plans for that yet
