Hello everyone! I'm Mod Anvil, the new Lead Community Manager for RuneScape.

I introduced myself properly on the blog and reddit yesterday, but I wanted to give anyone who wanted it the chance to just hang out and chat. I'd love to meet as many of you as possible and also hear your thoughts on what we can do to make the RuneScape community better.

I'll be here for a dedicated hour today, but if this works well I would like to create more regular sessions like this in future.

Thoughts on supporting ‘community’ feeling in RS. With the loss of the beach, other events that congregate players together in one spot – with greater xp gain for less afk activities, so players are more likely to chat with each other. And generally in game, make the difference of xp gain greater between afk skilling and consciously focussed skilling – encouraging active participation and interactions. Excuse wall of text

If you want an easy win early on, you could consider increasing the ban rate on lurers. They make longstanding player quit, they scam and rwit as well, and they are very bad for morale. And no one likes them.

Recently, I introduced a friend to RuneScape 3, and he has been enjoying the game a lot. However, one issue he has encountered is related to obtaining Silverhawk boots.
Unfortunately, most minigames in RS3 are currently inactive, even when they are on spotlight. Because of this, it is extremely difficult for new or returning players to earn enough Thaler to purchase the boots.
I wanted to ask if there are any plans to address this situation, such as adjusting Thaler requirements or providing alternative ways to obtain Silverhawk boots. This would greatly help new players engage with the game without relying on content that is no longer active.

• We need the current stuff to reach up to 110 then back-end add in 110 to 120 for a potential new material.
• A long-awaited revamp to the Player-Owned House system (I'm waiting for Falador Massacre 2.0 on this)
• New locations for PoH portals (Fort Forthinry, Max Guild, etc)
• Complete revamp of the house decorations and room building systems (Maybe add in a Leagues Hall?)
• Forge workshops for in-house smithing and repair work.
